This was recorded at the COGIC district convention in Philadelphia at the midnight musical. I was on Outreach at the time, it was in 1992 at the Adams Mark Hotel. We were singing this song probably about 2 a.m.

Dr Clark originally recorded this song back in 1978 on the LP "Mattie Moss Clark Presents; Kenneth Ward and the Central Illinios Jurisdiction Mass Choir COGIC" and lemme tell u... Mattie killed it on the Hammond!!

This is not the last song Mattie Moss Clark recorded; she did a song 7 weeks before she died on "He'll Bring You Out" recorded live in Detroit, Michigan in July 1994. The song is called "Let Everything that Hath Breath."

Lord Let Me Hear From Heaven was done by also by somebody who Mattie Produced, The album had "Give Him the Glory" on it. I had the album and this song was on it with Twinkie playing the organ and Mattie did the lead. and that album is now gone!!!!! :( It's out of print. It was done back in 83 or 84. I had a lot of those COGIC albums. :(
