It merely suggest that Federal funds and tax-exemptions should not be granted to companies for those jobs which they create in other countries. Which is totally logical. The Republicans destroyed this project. The EPA was still surveying possible routes for the pipeline because the proposed route was deemed to environmentally sensitive to build on, and the project may have gone forward if they were allowed to continue negotiations with transcanada. But the Republicans were more interested in making Obama look bad than anything else, so they forced the project through in it's unacceptable form. The president rejected the plan, now they will have to start over.
Since when do republicans care about American jobs? They took the house over a year ago and not one jobs bill yet. Oh and don't forget to mention how much you stand to make personally on all the deals you have made.

The Republicans destroyed this project. The EPA was still surveying possible routes for the pipeline because the proposed route was deemed to environmentally sensitive to build on, and the project may have gone forward if they were allowed to continue negotiations with transcanada. But the Republicans were more interested in making Obama look bad than anything else, so they forced the project through in it's unacceptable form. The president rejected the plan, now they will have to start over.

We don't have enough oil to flood the market. So any increase in r output will be matched with cuts by the worlds big oil producers, keeping prices high.

Oil is detached from reality. It paces the stock market. Some price increase is from the dollar, but not 100+ a barrel. Saudi Arabia just said they'd compensate for Iran oil if it was stopped, does it sound like we have a shortage of oil? Stop trading oil on the OTC & we wouldn't have high oil prices.
