  • How wrote this song......i love it...:)

  • @SUPERFLAFEL99

I don't know who wrote the lyrics, but the music is quite old. It is called Concierto de Aranjuezas and was composed by the Spanish composer Joaquín Rodrigo in 1939.

  • Very nice. Beautiful singing by Fairouz.. But I think you should change the title, removing Miles Davis and Gil Evans' names unless you have proof that they performed on this song.

  • Beautiful, really nice song. I am Iranian and adore Lebanon and its people

  • Great music with a great photo slide show

  • Very impressive. Fabulous music... with Miles or not!

  • I was not aware that Miles Davis was that actual performer of this famous Fairouz song. He was not credited as such on the album "Ma3arifti Feek" this song is on. Joaquin Rodrigo is credited though as the composer.

  • Thanks for your feedback ElVaQueRoati

Now you are making me doubt . I had found info on the net that Miles Davis was on this track, but I'm unable to find it again.

Is there anyone that knows for sure if Miles Davis is on this track?

If not I'll have to review my information.

Anyway, I hope you liked the clip I made.

  • Miles Davis did do this track, called "Concierto de Aranjuez" which is on his album titled "Sketches of Spain".

However, the original composer is Joaquín Rodrigo. The composition is called "Concierto de Aranjuez".

These two people probably have nothing to do with Fairuz. There's at least on other song she did that was derived from a classical composition (Beethoven I believe), but I don't remember it now.

  • The music is indeed the Adagio from Concerto de Aranjuez by Joaquin Rodrigo written in 1939. the piece supposedly deals with his struggle for his faith and believe after his wife miscarried their unborn child after their honeymoon in Aranjuez
