  • I like this, if I could only teach my maltese a little bit about patience, to spoiled though, good work, don't mind the hate

  • found it uncomfortable towards the end... all the dribble down her chops. obviously really food orientated. good that a dog doesnt leap up at you like a living pogo stick but it feels mean to ask for a dog to wait this long. If she has to wait for ages fr her food why not just feed her later. I thought the idea was to encourage her to sit calmly whilst you feed her.. not tease her.

  • best dogs ever

  • Amazing how many people are so quick to judge others harshly. No I don't make my dogs wait this long every time they eat, but what purpose would it serve to post a video of a dog waiting 10 seconds?! BFD. I love this dog dearly and she ADORES me. She did this not because I MADE her, but because I ASKED her! And I asked her because I wanted HER to know she could do it. Our job is not only to love and spoil them, but also to unleash the potential within.

  • @truweims Beautiful dog! Well, I understand and agree with you. But I wonder if you couldn't do it using something else than food.

  • Bellissimo cane e padrone molto bravo! Complimenti, spero di avere un cane così!

  • thats child abuse

  • "A line between training and torture...you crossed it."..??? 1 and a half minutes is torture to you? One and a half days is torture. Maybe you're jealous because you can't get your dog to wait patiently for dinner. This is awesome. Good work with your pup!

  • @2sn0wy One and a half minutes is one and a half days in in dog years...

  • Way too long

  • There's a line between training and torture...you crossed it.

  • How obedient! I can't help but feel bad for her though lol she's drooling like crazy.

  • Ohh the drool, my weim is so drooly when it's feeding time. the floor is soaking wet with it. He is patience though

  • amazing

  • do weimaraners have a really nice feeling coat

  • WOW! What a good girl!

  • I need to bring my dog to CO for some training. Fantastic! And, what a good girl.

  • nice job, good looking weim. can't believe all the negative comm. i'm sure their dogs are fat and have no respect at parks. beta's to a dog?

  • My Weim can do the same but I dont make him wait a friggin minute drooling everywhere.....How bout next time you go to put your fat face into a burger i make you wait!

  • your dog has just been well trained...there's nothing cruel whatsoever about making them wait...maybe not for that long each time haha! but just for this video demostrated how well behaved your weimaraner is....dogs in the wild experience much worse im sure! yet thats not cruel is it? just natural...anyhow shes goorrgeeous :)...im getting a weim puppy soon!

  • aww cute..she looks good for 9.5!!! looks young faced

  • cute. you see her drool? my weim shadow does the same thing. clearly the person trying to talk trash doesn't really know the breed, nor do they know much about dogs and training. You really need you dog to know that you are in charge and a great reinforcement is making them wait for their food, or not feeding them until after they see you eat. especially a dog as intelligent as a weimaraner.

  • BTW, I left all those thumbs down on those nasty comments...gimme a break, what is wrong with you people?

  • I hope she doesn't have to wait drooling every time she eats. My Weim is very good about waiting until her older sister (an Aussie) gets her bowl filled first. I thought she was very well restrained, and didn't really mind waiting. Re. the comments, I don't think learning manners is cruel, especially when we all know that Weims are really clever and need some limits, & it sounds like she's been ruling the roost at home. Old dogs definately CAN learn new tricks. Pretty girl.

  • You love watching dogs snap!?... what a jerk.

  • hmmm, just that little bit too long. I think you are on some kind of power trip there!

  • Nope, just trying to prove to her owners that it is not to late for her to learn some manners.

  • @truweims Can you just wait for your food the way you do with your dog? Do not like it at all!! Love weimaraners, and have one 9 years old.
