This is one of my FAVORITE songs done by RVC. I just listened to the 2003 recording a few days ago. It brought back memories of RVC... I MISS IT SO MUCH!!!

Is This the 2003 Version on the Be Still and Know CD??? This was one of the most powerful songs when we sanged it for the first time at one of Governor Granholms Inauguration services!! RVC in 2003, 04, and 05 we was the stuff...go head yall!! I miss it~

This was my VERY first INTRODUCTION to KSU Choir.. I heard them sing it live one year, and I knew I was going there.. I was in tears before they even got deep in the song. It's one of my favorite choral works ever, and I haven't heard too many collegiate choirs duplicate that masterpiece of a work... But.. This is a VERY good Representation.. I'm about to rip this and burn it.. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

True, this is a lighter version of the song but lighter isn't necessarily always better. Just saying. Just like there are flaws in our EFA performance, there are some pretty prevalent in this one as well. But this is one of my favorite versions. Some of the better ones weren't recorded actually. Of course you'd only know that if you went to Renni. :-) Thanks for posting it though! And thanks for promoting Stacey!

Marevlous interpertation Rennaisance! This chior really sang this song better than when i hear them at EFa! amost always rennaisance "he man"sound over powers that piece with the excepted of this song! Great Job to bad she retired. Always a pleasure to hear renniasance. O an DSA i think they got yall on this one! lol jk

I went to Kentucky State Univerisity for 2 years and inbetween changed to vocal...when i got into choir this was the very first song that i sang and my high school choir will sing this song EVERY year!!!!!!!!!!!! my absolute FAVORITE chorale song of ALL TIME and that will never change!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
