Goodness it looks exactly like my old Bernese Enzo was who sadly died in 2001. On average they only live too ten years old because a form of cancer that effects the breed, I heard. Thanks for uploading this I wish I still had one but very expense too buy.

Your Bernese Mountain Dog is one of the most gorgeous ones I have ever seen. This makes me miss my dog, Skippy (a Sheltie), back home. I thought about getting a Bernese but I don't know much about the breed except they are VERY big and have a lot of fur that requires lots of grooming.
We're in England and just starting to think about getting ourselves a rescue dog. Not sure we could have another Bernese - too many memories - but Chewie would think we weren't either proper or safe without a dog to look after us, so we have to respect that...
Marcus is gorgeous - he clearly loves you very much. We lost our own big Bernese boy "Chewie" about 3 months ago and I'd give anything to be able to hug him again like that...
I lost also my big Bernese girl LEA about 9 months ago, it s so sad that I can t even describe how, because she was so lovely and smart. What about you ? How old was your Chewie when you lost him ? My LEA was 10 years old. Do you know do they live short or no ? Greetings from Croatia !!!

I have loved and owned for years a Bernese /Swiss Mountain dog they take a long time to mature but when they are the best working dog in the world

@rockndude87 no! Bernese's fur is easy to mainting. no grooming is needed. one brush per week is enough, except when they shed.

@rockndude87 If you see the video Dogs 101 Bernese, they say there is almost no need for grooming.
besides being gorgeous, they have a wonderful temperament.

I had 2 Bernese Mountain dogs, one lived to 11, the other sadly died at 8. They both were the best dogs i ever had. Wonderful breed..
