  • he's my gym teacher and im shocked that my teacher is an awesome hockey player :)

  • Talked to a friend of Vigi and myself who lives in Gwinett, said Mike told him cuz all the injuries he has to move on and signed with a Euro club. More info soon.

  • my boy vigy who ever lives in the wayne county area in michigan go to the vigilante camps there really fun and they work you

  • Mieks a personal frined of mine. Did you know he scored a Silver Medal winning goal for the under 20 Team USA squad back in 1997. Hes awesome. a legend of the street here in Dearborn.

  • Mike is a legend down here in north Atlanta, too! I hope he can get back to playing hockey. The wife and I talk to him occationally via email and he is NOT ready to hang up the skates just yet.

Mike is franchise player for the Gladiators and we want to see him get to the AHL (like his brother did) where he can make a decent living playing a game he dearly loves.

  • where is 117 AA? i am going to that arena

  • Hey, I'm from Alaska, and we call Chris Becky-Sue all the time, so... He's a nice guy.

  • Cool! Say, and may be I have him mixed up with someone else, but wasn't it Chris that had to be taken off the roster to attend and emergency back home (family member perhaps) a few months back?

At Gwinnett, we don't wish any bad luck on any player as they make hardly any money at all and their livelihoods depend upon it. We don't like to see them hurt physically or personally either -- we just want to beat them. :)

  • yeah, us too.

  • Oops, pardon me. I didn't expand the field to notice that you did acknowledge the loss.

  • No problem, keep holding out luck and you'll catch me on something sooner or later. I tend to get the little things but at times seem oblivious to the obvious (ask my boss), so keep trying :-)

  • I laughed out loud at your "Becky-Sue" parody of Chris Beckford-Tseu's name. I'll have to remember that for the home games.

However, you fail to mention that the Aces beat Gwinnett in overtime 5-4.

  • Yeah, but I'm afraid I can't take any credit for it. I too laughed out loud the first time I heard it used on the Atlanta Thrashers Prospects message board last week.

I probably shouldn't have written Becky-Sue, he's an outstanding goalie and deserves a little more respect -- but hey, then again, he doesn't play for Gwinnett so screw 'em :) Chris Beckford-Tsue, you do rule in the net dude.
