Graphics and gameplay of MotorStorm Pacific Rift are drop-dead EPIC! The vehicles and environments look superbly realistic and driving is excellent, although it has moon physics.

to all those idiots who keep comparing Apocalypse with PR need to know that PR is better than Apocalypse! This has got better physics, better graphics and is also something fit for adults compared with Apocalypse. Even this one has got better soundtrack compared with Apocalypse's. Don't hate on this game because its hard. Its hard because this one is more realistic than Apocalypse. Apocalypse is more user friendly, and so its easier than this.

I'm at like rank 6 now and I'm telling you.. it's way to hard now, I swear that the drivers have a mind of their own, it's pathetic how vehicles turn and the physics of the game is shit. It's a shame because it's a really fun game to play but not much crae in the science of it :(

i got this for my PS3 yesterday and MY FUCKING GOD PEOPLE this game is fuckin fantastic :) :) :) :) :) the graphics are crisp, the landscape is beautiful (i try to leave the trees intact) and the physics are really realistic (once you've crashed and fly into the other drivers/exploding into flames or whichever comes first haha) awesome game overalll!!!

i got this game january 2010 with my ps3 and over the past year i got 40 ps3 games. MSPR is the game that i constantly come back to playing. yesterday i got the final gold medal (96 in total), after a bit of frustration with rubberband ai, oversensitive collision detection and at times brutal difficulty i can say very few games made my heart pump and my adrenaline flow like MSPR did. there is sooo much to do and play, the game still looks wow, a very rewarding experience. what a f'n great game.

For Motor Storm 3, they need to add a deep Vehicle cuztomizer and Stat/performence upgrading and they need to make it with combat, like mounting gatlin guns on the car or mines that come out the back, those ideas have been done before but they could do that AND alot more.

@Aws0me90 Motorstorm and Dirt 2 are both offroad racing games, but in dirt 2 you have to follow a road. in Motorstorm, there isn't an exact route to follow, just try to win.

I havnt played this but i have dirt 2. Dirt 2 is fantastic, the gameplay is fun and the graphics are amazing. There are so many modes to play so you will never get bored. I can recommend Dirt 2 highly.

Is Dirt worth getting? I have played the demo for Dirt 2. I was impressed by the smooth graphics. I have been gaming since the 1990. My first system I played was the original Game Boy. Smooth HD graphics are nice. Game play is most important to me. That is only cause I grew up in the SNES and Play Station era of gaming.
