  • I like my drinks cooler than that... If you shake it more the ice dosent melt as fast in the glass either

  • Hardly "working flair."

I and many like me have been slinging sauce for over 15 years, and bartenders like this grind out one drink to our 10. Believe me I've lived it - I'm still living it - and I know.

There is, however, such a thing as working flair, but this shit is not it.

  • sex on the beach " cicarelli" kkkk very good however, he smiles and seems scared to do the movements, especially the shadow, one that goes behind the shaker head

  • very good but 0;43 isn't working flair if you works like that you;ll make clients white shirts orange, very good

  • How the hell do people spin the tin all over the place with nothing coming out?!?! No matter how hard I try, even just having 1 25ml shot in it gets spilt for me :-S

  • you got a sex on the beach without orange liquer right there

  • ...honestly, all you people saying stuff about using the same ice he shook it with or, dying of thirst, or any other daft comments. The video is a WORKING FLAIR DEMO. Not how to make a cocktail, not working ethics behind a bar. So enjoy the flair or go watch a mixo video...

  • hahahahah what was that playing with my drinks lol

  • I'd have died of thirst by the time I got my drink

  • @chrisconroy1 .....yeah, I bet you never tip,

and order one drink at a time,

and tell your bartender to take the ice out "because it waters your drink down"

and wave your money at your bartender,

    and ask for free shots,

and end up getting cut off,

    .....because you're a dick

    Fuck off to Weatherspoons lad.

  • @smokebomb213 HAHA! Wow.. seems a bit disproportionate. Don't get me wrong, I admire people who can flair. I can't do it myself and it fascinates me. It was merely a jovial comment. As for your list, I do literally none of those things. Working on a bar myself I know full well how irritating they are. There is no 'a' in Wetherspoons, by the way.

    Chill out, man.

  • @chrisconroy1 I'm quite happy i know so little about that shithole pub that I don't even know how it's spelt.

  • @smokebomb213 Cool.

  • Interesting, but very quick ! I think that you can make some "show" with it ;)

  • Looks nice, but he's working so dirty look how he touch with his fingers the strow and then is putting it inside of the glass.... lol, a bartender should look after this details, also he made a lot of show but he even shake so much the drink which is the part of the taste...

  • @hekum What do you mean by your last criticism? It does not make any sense.

  • why use the same ice to serve the drink as he used to shake it with? baaad

  • Good video bru now i think you should relax a bit do things alittle slower and chill out but you did such a good job

  • nice

  • If you saw just from 0:55 of him putting the straw in a drink you wouldn't think much of the drink. Seems quite ordinary just sitting there. But, after watching the whole process of it's creation and it finally settles to that position so it can receive it's straw, it looks very sophisticated sitting there. It's like; do I have permission to touch it now?

  • very go0d.,

  • lo maximo desde peru ahi dejando mi huella luna_199025@hot,...

  • Not bad I shall learn and 1 up ass for sure

  • Michael Phelps look-a-like?

  • fantastyczny koles..

    pozdrowienia z Polski.:)

  • I can't believe all these people questioning this drink. The guy says "this is a working flair demo" so is there to show working flair and not a classic cocktail. clearly it's a Bacardi mixed and shaken with orange topped with cranberry. I'm not sure the drink has a name but Who For gods sake keeps grenadine on a store and pour? I ask you?

  • @jonnydes1976 i know what you mean about the store and pour... but look at the colour and how quickly it sinks. def not cranberry.

  • @SchafeyWafey well we'll have to disagree. some brands of cranberry behave differently, the Princes stuff is alot darker and abit thicker than the ocean spray stuff. I'm convinced It's a juice, but not to worry!

    Be Good

  • @SchafeyWafey It sinks because after you shake the orange juice it becomes less dense...

  • Comment removed

  • whats that??grenadine syrup??the red one

  • the guy is so skinny.^^

  • you never shake with the glass towards your guests.

    The rest: good job!

  • everyone can call it what they want, but here in a cocktail bar we call it a bacardi sunrise, Bacardi, Orange Juice, Lime to make it zing, and some Grenadine to make it look pretty and give a nice taste at the start. Bacardi Sunrise. In its easiest form.

  • a MADRAS? but suppose to be vodka, orange, cranberry.. maybe its a cuban madras.. or just water.. cost saving.. lol

  • this is the bacardi sunrise!

  • @YoProfessional it should take grandine instead of cranberry, thats how you make a classic tequilla sunrise

  • His best trick comes at 0:46 - putting the dirty Boston tin next to the clean ones - it's called how to annoy your workmates. LOL

  • The straw trick at the end was the best

  • Sorry guys..that is not a sex on the beach,or a tequila sunrise,is just bacardi with orange juice, and crumberry j....

  • that was grenadine, not cranberry. cranberry juice is not that heavy

  • tequila sunriZe or... ?

  • or tequila sunrise . . cant be sex on the beach

  • you allright man! sex on the beach have Cranberry and peach brandy... i think

  • yeah Tequila sunrise

  • Very nice, simple, quick, solid and entertening ;)

    Liked a lot.

    You´re the man.

  • Really nice moves, but why is it flair guys never do a real shake? Just one or two limp shakes and then pour, why even bother? Shaking is important, and real bartenders make it the best part of the show!

  • Truth man, it's all about good dilution, and breaking down your ingredients. Especially with egg-whited drinks, I've employed a flair bartender who limp shook a bourbon sour and served it with lumps of raw egg white in it. Not cool, P45. If it's whited, shake it silly. If it's not, shake it silly!!

  • you are right, shaking is important. but it depends on what you are making. by the looks of things he made a tequila sunrise i think? (added grenadine to the orange juice to give it that nice colour) and originally this drink is stirred and isnt even shaken so it doesnt need much of a shake. if it was a heavier drink, or needed the cloudy effect shaking leaves then you might do it longer. but even then drinks dont need to be shaken that long as the ice often will break down and dilute your drink

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhh....................*sigh*

Because he has 2 oz of oj, plus probably 1/2 of cran, if he shakes it MORE he's goign to add more water to his drink, and make it super non strong, thus your tasting nothing but water/oj/cran, thus killing the liqour more, thus you ruin your drink, its suppose to be on the rocks, its not a shake and strain.... if it was shake and strain im pretty sure he'd add more liqour, lil less juice and shake it throughly............but i love your notion =]

  • @Dorkster81 sure, shaking oj with bacardi is shit, makes no sense, but has he says,is just a demonstration

  • @WildBillTurkey Because they don't want to ruin the drink by watering it down... I don't know what "real" bartenders you've seen....

  • @WildBillTurkey Because this is a tequila sunrise, you are not making a martini

  • Comment removed

  • It's a Planter's punch because he use Bacardi rum not Tequila

  • Tequila Sunrise.

    1 ounce of Tequila

    fill with Orange Juice

    splash of Grenadine for color

top with Cherry and Orange wedge (aka flag)

  • tequila sunrise... :D

  • Damn straight Robert... that one is a steady in my work...

  • Vodka, suco de laranja e Groselha!! ;)

  • nice.. vid

    would you put some more..

    nice...

  • could this be one of the most watched flair vids on youtube???

  • cool work flair man!!!!

    respect!!!!!!

    +1000 000

  • ok...when have any of you ever seen grenadine in a pour and store?? and look at the speed of the red liquid pour - way too fast for grenadine. grenadines a thicker, sugar saturated liquid with a far slower pour, something similar to gomme...if you use good grenadine/pomegranate. no idea what the drinks called and who gives a fuck...thats not what the shaker uk lad is showing us on the vid. obviously its cranberry juice, and it sinks also, nowhere near being layered. thanks.

  • And by the way.

    It IS the president Roosevelt,

made of rom, orange juice and grenadine.

    simple but good.

  • Well the flair is ok, but I would never either serve or drink a cocktail made this way.

    Just a little proff. seen.

  • isnt that a sex on the beach?

  • Cranberry juice... are you joking !!!!

    its GreNadine!!!! LayEred EffeCt!!!

  • its cranberry jus - fanny baws. wheres the layered effect ...?? i dont see it...maybe ones eyes doth decieve him...but i think your being a wee bit DaFt...

  • yeah...its cranberry juice....don't know what bar you work...

so its not a tequila sunrise at all because sunrise...means the grenadine floats...sunset it sinks but this isn't grenadine...

it's a sex on the beach.

last of all, sunrise can be served with ice and usually is.

  • ohhh and tequilla sunrise is served cold but without ice!!

  • You are all tools... its not grenadine its cranberry juice and he doesn't shake it all together because he wants the cranberry to sink and give that layered effect. Try working in a bar before slating the guy. Good effort i say

  • @ 0:30 <-- quite unproffesionel imo.

  • How the hell else is he gunna pour the drink in? Throw the liquid up in the air and take the cup, and hope to catch all of it?..Uh, yeah, I don't think so.

  • also he tops the drink with the "red liquid" (grenadine), rather than shaking it with the orange juice.

  • aggiungerei ank mlt ma mlt carino hhihihihi

  • This drink is caled "sex on the beach" noobs...

  • no its not "noob"... its a tequilla sunrise.. notice how he covers the air-hole when pouring the "red liquid" (grenadine)... sex on the beach is equal orange and cranberry juice. while this cocktail has more OJ than "cranberry" or grenadine should i say. Some bars do pour the grenadine into speed pourers. that should clear everything up...

  • you're both wrong. the first bottle he grabs (the only liquor he uses) is bacardi white rum. the drink's called a President Roosevelt... rum OJ and grenadine.

  • bacardi white, orange and cranberry juice... you sure thats a sex on the beach...? noob

  • so what is this a drink in your opinion?? Rum Sunrise hahaha your noob... i thought tequilla sunrise is served with tequilla and not rum... shut the fuck up when you dont know... sex on the beach is practicly the same as tequila sunrise

  • Mmm tequila Sunrise

  • cool!

  • whats his name?

  • A sea breeze by the looks of it

  • NO......if it was a juice it wouldn't be in a BOTTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    its more a tequila sunrise

  • nevermind dude, your right LOL didn't see the speed pourer X___x

  • I love the flair techniques man. Good job, and made a pretty good looking drink at it, I may add. Is this a Tequila Sunrise? I guess it doesn't really matter, seeing as you made a perfectly good and even drink with much flair. Hope to see more!

  • lol

  • I like the shaker and juice pourer move at 28 seconds. I've seen a lot of flair in my time and have become pretty immune to it's charms, but that trick made me sit up even though its incredibly simple. Something you could really do behind a bar with minimal risk. Cheers for the tip.

  • woz gud but shudda used fresh ice in the glass rather than wot woz used in th shaker

  • YOU KNOW NOTHING

  • nooooooo la cagoo

  • that face commes whit the routine?? jajaja

  • i love this video,it s so clear,nice and clean....that s what working flair is about!well done!

  • this video is merely a demonstration of how working flair can be used to make basic disco joice based drinks...if we are getting technical about a sex on the beach then having tended bar for 12 years across the globe then i have seen at least 30 different variations...appreciate the flair in this vid and post comments on what this video is really about...working flair!!!

  • nice flair.. but he looks kinda bum :D

  • simple, clean, nice, not to complicated;

    love it. good job

  • are there any videos that actually teach you this shit or are they all like "HEY LOOK AT ME!!!" just to show off and shit???????

  • lol shaking vodka and orangejuice? no need for that mate.. and besides u are sposed to use fresh ice after u shake it.. but the flairing was really nice gj =) 3 stars!

  • woohoo ZOMBIE!!!!

  • AWESOME

  • i like how the most boreing and flairless part is when hes actually pouring the drink into the glass.

  • ottimo stile

  • tequila sunrise? =p

  • i think that's bacardi what he'ss pouring so can't be it.

    my bet is san francisco

  • Sex on the beach?

  • that was the stupidest question ever.

All the bartenders reading this will agree with me when I say that people like you are what make our job so easy. Orange juice and rum and you think it´s a sex on the beach ?

I could have served you pretty much what ever I wanted to and you would think It´s what you ordered, won´t you...

  • gracias por tu buena onda y espero que sigas asi y compartiendo las bases o lo esencial para un buen working spero ver un poco mas de esto desde ya muchisimas gracias
