  • at 1:00 you can see how tires almost unmounting lol

  • WHO MAKES THE FREAKING SPRINTER, DODGE, OR MERCEDES BENZ!!!

  • @PIEFISHCAT

its a mercedes benz collaboration with Volkswagen (evertthing from the front doors to the back is shared with the VW crafter, only the wings and front pannels are different), in the United States, it is sold as a dodge and as a Freightliner, BUT they're still made in the MB/VW plant in germany.

  • @petrocelly, "ADAPTIVE ESP"

  • super viraje!!!

  • DODGE sprinters are awsome

  • a transit could do that it's not the only van, plus transit are faster

  • @jaffacake1578 I would like to see a Ford Transit carry 4000lbs and tow a 5000lbs trailer. Try that out with a transit and let me know how it works out for you, a post on youtube would be great. LMAO!!!!!!!

  • @Kerackles wtf are you on about, i don't have a transit, so how could i try it

  • @jaffacake1578 If you don't own a Transit then how do you know it's faster then a Sprinter? I am just saying comparing a Transit to a Sprinter is not an accurate comparison, the Sprinter is capable of so much more than a Transit. Plus it gets almost comparable fuel millage. I own a Sprinter and have looked at the transit. The transit is great if u need a small vehicle to park in the city.

  • @Kerackles

Uhh. Dude. If you live in the U.S. and you're arguing speed for Full-Sized vans you will lose badly. The highest-power engine option is the 3L Diesel Producing 188Hp, and 325 Lb.-Ft. of torque And if you have an older one, it's a lot weaker than that.

Chevy Express by comparison with it's standard engine option produces 323hp, and diesel 550 Lb.-Ft of torque.

It's no wonder why Sprinter is commonly criticized for it's sluggish highway performance. Though acceleration is okay.

  • @SecularTechnology Uhh Dude, Read the entire convesation between jeffcake1578 and myself. He was trying to compare unfairly compare a little Ford Transit to a Sprinter. I will say my Sprinter doesn't feel sluggish on the hwy with that being said, I will take my 24mpg diesel with 325 lb torque over a diesel getting 11 mpg and 550 lb of torque anyday for what I use it for. Plus I can stand up in it.

  • @Kerackles

The 154 Hp gets 24mpg, so I doubt the 188 Hp would get the same. I can stand up in the Express with an aftermarket roof. (6'3) Sprinter (6'4).

  • @SecularTechnology The 2010 Sprinter I have with 188hp and 325 torque is getting 24 mpg

  • @Kerackles

    Really have you tested it?

  • @SecularTechnology I just filled up yesterday after a 279 mile trip and put in 11.5 gallons

  • @Kerackles

Well for this argument I'll let you have that, but I'd have to see more statistics. But you also have to keep in mind that the Sprinter is 7 to 10 grand more than the Express, or the E-Series.

  • @Kerackles

Dude, lol you screwed up big time. The van you are thinking if is the Ford Transit CONNECT. Europe has there own Transit Thats just as large as the Sprinter. They don't sell it in the US

  • thats nice when the van is empty, load it with some weight and then see how it flips

  • @petrocelly Just in case you didn't know. MB Sprinter has intelligent ESP system.

Whenever you start your delivery round, the vehicle measures the weigh and also if you loaded it evenly. In case of an emergency breaking an/or yielding another vehicle, the esp knows how the stabilize the vehicle. I have tested that many times in safe conditions (closed area).

  • @petrocelly

yeah but american vans do flip already without a load, so what's your point?

Anything american on wheels is good in a straight line, but when it comes to

    corners, it sucks big time.

  • @petrocelly when the van is loaded the center of gravity is lower => harder to flip over...well that depends on what it is loaded with

  • Its a 5 minute video of a van weaving round some cones!!!

If they want safety testing they should run it up and down the M6 on an average day

    Bored now.

  • Im laughing, just read your comment. In real life those cones are replaced by slow cars, old jotters, cyclists and pedestrians... thats normal everyday van driving for a courier, especially one thats running behind schedule... :-)

I agree with petrocelly, try doing this with a loaded up van and see what happens...

  • @Stubba1961 Wrong title. They meant Stability-testing.

  • 5 years ago,My friend had an accident in this van.

    The van wasn't safety.

so I thing this van well be better.

  • @Antiinequity

your friend should learn to drive, because

you have to go real crazy to get an accident in a deliveryvan, especially a mercedes sprinter because they are the best and most safe vans in the world.

i own a old 95' 312 and i never had major problems with it, and here in europe there are mercedes vans from 30 years old that still drive like new ones, so that says enough about mercedes.

  • perfect post bank robbery getaway vehicle..

  • es lo unico que hace aguante renault master

  • lol i didn't think the sprinter could run the slalum :p

it's so tall it makes me think it'll just tip over.

  • This is how the UK's builders drive. Like morons up your arse on the M27

  • Nice video !

i think this is a funny job to test a Sprinter for work :-)

this video do not need music, i want to hear the symphony of the Sprinter engine :-)

  • hahaha i guess thats true lol

  • 2nd view and comment =]

    this video needs some music!

  • the only music it needs it already has! an engine hard at work
