looks pretty real... but why would it go to the trouble of sneaking up on that guy only to immediately run away? it would have been able to smell the humans, so i conclude that it would have more than likely just avoided them altogether. or is it just camera-shy? lol. it would have been nice to have some audio... but maybe the soundtrack was just 2 guys laughing.
Just seems strange how the guy squatting down just gets up and books it. Either this is directed, though the bigfoot does look realistic at some parts and fake in others, or the camera man yelled out a warning. The only problem with the warning is that most people would look at whats making the noise.

what happened to the original video you posted? that only contained the bigfoot rampaging down toward the fellow, by the water? the hoax get let out of the bag, with that one? the other was so much clearer, with a lot less pixelation...so much so, that the viewer could see the look on the fellow's(guy by the water) face.

Look at the arms of the creature, they are way to long, and look like they are just dangling, like someone in a suit whose own arms don't fill out the whole suit arm.
I dont think its real but i'm not sure the reason why i am not sure is if you look closely the video quality turns from good too bad and if you watch closely he is zooming out and its still bad. And in the beginning he was zooming in on the man and the quality was good.

Way to many complications for me to say this is CG hell even motion capturing equipment would be close to impossile with all the foreign obstructions and terrain in the area...The speed and its movements/reactions are extremly accurate to its center of gravity and weight shifts...Everything from the lighting to the amazing detail in the hair/furr are consistent to what they should be...

Last week some guys who had been hiking and camping in a remote part of Sequoia National Park were awakened by rocks being thrown at them. JUriah I don't necesarilly think so, if you was in the deep woods and heard a terible crashing sound coming down a hill towards you I think you would first run, then glance back, but there are very few reports of Bigfoot being offensive for no reason and attacking people so that is the part that is questionable.

I would bet money that this is the real thing. The guy at the creek gets up abruptly as if he hears something alarming behind him and he runs as if scared. The creature shows athletic ability that no human would possess in the way he jumps down the mountain, and his speedy gait is apelike in the shoulders, and the body shape is definitely not human.
It's a very clever hoax. Unless the Earth's gravity has lightened recently, this is computer generated. Once again, motion mechanics. Anyone with any background in this field will IMMEDIATELY recognize this as a hoax.
Pause the video around 1:59 and you'll see a silhouette. It looks like a human arm with a sleeve hanging off of it. You know, where a guy's arm in the monkey suit stopped. Also, no credible Sasquatch story every had it running away. It always walked. The gait is way too human like when you slow it down and look at it. Nice try though.
These guys satated they were shooting stock film footage...film cameras don't have built in mics, sound is recorded seperately with various mics and a mixing board if you're shooting a narrative film, as they were just collecting stock footage there was no need for mics
Watch the jump down the side of the mountain, the ape makes; the arms and legs...all the movements look completely natural. The gait is natural looking too, to accomodate the hulky upper torso. I think it's authentic.
The bigfoot looks real enough. But the the guy just jumps up and runs, then turns and looks as he takes off running. He never even saw the thing coming. No one yelled at him because he never looks anywhere to acknowledge aqnyone yelling at him to run. Sadly I say fake. :-(

One point ... bears are elusive and Black Bears will come at you and then turn away. Generally, if they charge a second time you are meat. However, I have lived in the interior of BC, Canada all my life and the one point that makes me doubt this footage is at 1:32 when he hops over the fallen tree. While I can't speak to the credibility of this footage I can say this. I'm 6'7"....at the age of 16 i was 392 lbs, could squat 800 lbs, had 35 inch thighs and 26 inch calves. Yes I played football. Yes, I was agile and could leap easily from 6+ feet above the ground, land on my feet and keep running. Size is not a bearing on agility when you have the muscle mass to go with that size.

He managed to film a front view of his friend clear enough. Yes they were startled but he had time to step to the side and get a decent frontal shot. Patterson got thrown off his horse and he even managed to recover quickly and get a good shot from a long distance.

I think it may be real. That animal moves like an animal, very agile and athletic. The head sits right on the shoulders and the arms are very long and move ape-like. I don't think that can be mimicked well enough to look right. I don't think it's a human in an ape suit.
If you think about it, they could do a hoax but not tell that guy drinking water. They could of just dared him to drink from the stream and then had someone in a suit move or make some sound and startle him away. Just a thought.

The section of the "creature" fleeing the scene looks great. The flowing hair and elongated arms fit well with general descriptions. But when the creature initially comes down the embankment and leaps over the log the positioning of the feet upon landing are very reminiscent of human configuration. Aside from disputes about behaviour and time, what can be inferred about that simple act of jumping and landing?
Hmm, the more I watch it it makes less sense to me too. First the no sound, why go to this remote place and bring no sound? Everybody has sound on their video, except when they have foul intent. The cut, sorry but that's a cut. As a fake video, it all makes sense. -No sound= instructions/laughter. Cut= get the object in place, after the scare jump. The suit= something tall placed on two running legs! You almost had us fooled...:D

Last week some guys who had been hiking and camping in a remote part of Sequoia National Park were awakened by rocks being thrown at them. JUriah I don't necesarilly think so, if you was in the deep woods and heard a terible crashing sound coming down a hill towards you I think you would first run, then glance back, but there are very few reports of Bigfoot being offensive for no reason and attacking people so that is the part that is questionable.

I would bet money that this is the real thing. The guy at the creek gets up abruptly as if he hears something alarming behind him and he runs as if scared. The creature shows athletic ability that no human would possess in the way he jumps down the mountain, and his speedy gait is apelike in the shoulders, and the body shape is definitely not human.

Pause the video around 1:59 and you'll see a silhouette. It looks like a human arm with a sleeve hanging off of it. You know, where a guy's arm in the monkey suit stopped. These guys satated they were shooting stock film footage...film cameras don't have built in mics, sound is recorded seperately with various mics and a mixing board if you're shooting a narrative film, as they were just collecting stock footage there was no need for mics

i dont know about this one but if real, the guy drinking would have only needed to hear SOMETHING BIG behind him to run. safely assuming bear or whatever. that big of a creature would make one hell of a noise. unrealistic 1) the lower arms never move, look stiff while it ran. 2) any elusive creature would NOT came at a human only to turn and run. 3) bad camera work, he was not in danger, should have held still. only had to outrun his friend at the creek not the actual animal. However, I have lived in the interior of BC, Canada all my life and the one point that makes me doubt this footage is at 1:32 when he hops over the fallen tree. While I can't speak to the credibility of this footage I can say this. I'm 6'7"....at the age of 16 i was 392 lbs, could squat 800 lbs, had 35 inch thighs and 26 inch calves. Yes I played football. Yes, I was agile and could leap easily from 6+ feet above the ground, land on my feet and keep running. Size is not a bearing on agility when you have the muscle mass to go with that size.

He managed to film a front view of his friend clear enough. Yes they were startled but he had time to step to the side and get a decent frontal shot. Patterson got thrown off his horse and he even managed to recover quickly and get a good shot from a long distance.

I think it may be real. That animal moves like an animal, very agile and athletic. The head sits right on the shoulders and the arms are very long and move ape-like. I don't think that can be mimicked well enough to look right. I don't think it's a human in an ape suit.

As a believer in the existence of Sasquatch, I view this footage with a some skepticism.
Based on what the limited quality of YouTube video compression allows me to see here, I suspect that this is a hoax. It appears to be a man in a suit.
The locomotion of the 'creature' is inconsistent with what is already known about 'Bigfoot'.
No sound in this day and age? Highly suspicious.

(2) The figure comes bounding out of the underbrush TOWARDS the hiking party -- as opposed to turning away and running which is more instinctive of wild animals.
(3) Not only does the camera happen to be running from the beginning to the end of the encounter, the cameraman is facing in the ideal direction to film it. What luck!

Me telling you something can be 16mm does not equal it being bigfoot. I actually have no interest in the creature, unlike most of you crazies, and I don't believe it's ever been captured on film.
Anyway, the footage is film--I can tell. If you think it's video, you're wrong.
1. the way the light hits colors and textures--contrast range is much closer to film that digital. e.g. the sky would be blown out if the footage was digital.

A discrete showing to a credible researcher (i.e. Dr. Jeff Meldrum) would be the logical first step. The suit isn't awful...but the "runaway" looks like a high schooler jogging. Come clean Paris...you'll feel better.

hehe. This is amazing. I'd agree, no matter how many things you can try to find wrong, truth is stranger than fiction. I've seen real things that look more fake to me.

The section of the "creature" fleeing the scene looks great. The flowing hair and elongated arms fit well with general descriptions. But when the creature initially comes down the embankment and leaps over the log the positioning of the feet upon landing are very reminiscent of human configuration. Aside from disputes about behaviour and time, what can be inferred about that simple act of jumping and landing?

Hmm, the more I watch it it makes less sense to me too. First the no sound, why go to this remote place and bring no sound? Everybody has sound on their video, except when they have foul intent. The cut, sorry but that's a cut. As a fake video, it all makes sense. -No sound= instructions/laughter. Cut= get the object in place, after the scare jump. The suit= something tall placed on two running legs! You almost had us fooled...:D
