  • Does anyone know if this is covered by United Health Insurance?

  • Your doing great. How much do you eat in one day? I had surgery on Sept. 29, 2010. The last 3 weeks I have only lost 3 pounds, is that normal? I am not sure what I'm doing wrong.

  • We have a community for sleevers at our website gastricsleeve*com hope to see you there, please join our forum.

  • please post an update! I had my surgery Oct. 5th, 2010, Still in pain.

  • Hello-- I have been watching all of your videos. I was sleeved last week. what i am really wondering is why it is so easy for me to drink liquids as i did before. I can drink 16 0z of liquid and gulp it down with no problem. I don't want to stretch my sleeve. Please tell me about liquids... do they stretch the sleeve? I have been reading things that say it takes folks an hour to drink 8 0z of liquid. I have no problem drinking 16 oz in a short time. Please help me if you can.

  • hey just watched your video. I have tried everything I like Breads lump up all slider foods go down ok but if I eat to fast I suffer. If I eat to much I have to lie down. I can eat and eat every hour I'm still working this out good luck

  • u look great!!!

  • Ur an inspiration, my surgery date is march 29th.

  • Congrats on your surgery. You Look great. I think everyone is different and can tolerate different things at different times. I am 4 weeks post op and trying not to panick because I can eat soft breads??? I know. Only a little at a time but still it goes down better than eggs most times. I also enjoy cooking for my family. I find that I don't feel penalized if I taste what I want and that ususually is equal to a meal. I will get better. The sleeve is the best. I plan on posting my own vid soon.

  • Hope you operation went well! I am drinking milk and smoothies and like fruits and vegetables. I may never eat a hamburger again. I will keep you updated and plan on another video this week.

  • Thanks for the update!! 50lbs is amazing! I too am starting off at 208 and am having my sleeve on Sept. 12th. Look forward to more of your videos!!

  • That's how they gain weight back, unfortunately - by bypassing the sleeve with things that go through easily. I'm only a few weeks out, and I can't imagine paying for this (and NEEDING this), then wasting it all - guess that's what addiction is, huh? I'm a bit over 5 weeks out from vsg (also Mexico with Dr. Joya - wonderful experience with a great surgical team). You look great!

  • Thanks for your comment. How are you doing with eating? Do you enjoy it? What has been your favorite thing to eat? Congrats on your surgery!

  • I'm doing okay with eating - as you probably know, 4 ounces or under is pretty much what I can eat (usually less). I'm still in the relatively soft foods stages, but adding some veggies back into my diet (nice, salady crunch ones). My favorite things to eat - so many choices LOL - oddly, popcorn now stinks to me. So no popcorn in my future, I think. I like a lot of fish from Trader Joes. How about you?
