Well Valis, I was a subscriber when you were on valis77. I commented a lot on your vids back then and i also enjoyed your 100 playthroughs of FF IV =P Really i did enjoy every FF 4 video. I am sorry i didn't ever subscribe to this channel until now and so i finally found this channel after ages. Well Valis, keep on gaming man!
I subbed because your videos bring back memories and introduce me to other retro games I had never even heard of before. In fact, if it wasn't for you, I would have never heard of the underrated and relatively unknown gems known as the Valis series. Also, your commentary is quite informative and entertaining.

As for any complaints, I don't have any, though I'd love to see new versions of some of your older videos, like Castlevania Bloodlines or Final Fantasy VII (Both among my personal favorites). As far as your RPG videos go, I can't speak for everyone, but with me, the only reason I may not watch those as much as others is because when I play RPGs I tend to get into them for the story, and I get hesitant about watching videos for a game I haven't played and gotten to that part in the story myself.

Well I was looking for LPs of Strider for the NES and came across yours. Watching it, I could tell you had a really easygoing sense of humor and you didn't seem to be full of yourself. Actually I don't think that you are a "a. wh." because you want to make projects so increase your popularity. I mean a guest commentary is still work. And there is nothing wrong in putting some effort in things that are important to you.
I like the way you do your commentary the humor is a nice touch. What emulator did you use for this game since I don't think the Sega Game Gear had a way to hook it to a monitor but I coud be wrong. I had one until someone swiped it

Originally I bookmarked you because of the selection of old-school games that I stumbled across on your old channel. But I think mostly I just like your commentary, it's not annoying like some LPers who try too hard to be funny or just state the obvious.

Answer to #1: When I had the FF4 DS game, i was looking for LPs of that game (man… really hard to find @__@ ). When I was going to give up hope XD , I stumbled on to your old LP of FF4DS and it was really helpful for me :) . I decided to sub you and watch the rest of your videos. I really like your commentary style and the games that you choose to LP on (as it's mostly games I never seen, and I I find it entertaining). That, and I like your other series (like LE's and your blogging vids).

My original reason for subscribing was the Lennis series. Back on the old channel you had the music from the lennis series, and actually is one of my favorite RPGs. Why I haven't deleted you? As a subscriber youtube is my new TV, so basically I watch gaming. The LP series is what I truly watch (with a few others mentionable HCBailey, Chugga, Caprisun, etc). With the megaman series and FF series it is always good to watch a few different games replayed, from when I last played. THX Valis

I think you get less audience right now because you're redoing games you've played before. I just find your gameplay and commentary good. You seem to cover a great deal of the games and try your best in playing them, and your commentary is informative and entertaining. Not too wacky, not too dry. That's how I like my wine. :)
Why? The Let's Eat videos, the green thing on your head, your commentaries, just the way you talk and that you actually interact with people when you stream (joking, etc). You're just a cool guy that likes to play games and eat.
Anyway, I subbed to you because I was going around finding interesting LPers. You were one of them. I loved your fighting co-ops and soon grew to love the other games you played whether single/multiplayer. Your commentary is fun to listen to. well i just found a walkthrough based on double dragon ii which plagued me for over 10 years. yeah alot of frustrations when i was younger playing on the nes. when i clicked on ur video. the commentary and the gameplay u provided to me was flawless and gives me a good explanation what i did wrong when i was younger thus i was able to conquer that game that was haunting me. plus i think your a cool guy and an awesome gamer
