I don't understand you guys! I've bought the Nex3 and it is an amazing camera! If i compare the picture quality to my Pentax K20 the Sony Nex3 is much better in quality! You should read the user manual or take a photography course! For everyone who wants to buy this camera! If you don't need Full HD Video prefer the Nex3. It's much cheaper but same features. The only difference to Nex5 is that the Nex5 has a magnesium body and Full HD Video 1080i.

@uacosgun agree with the video quality, all i want is DSLR quality and compact size. and the RED one! hahaha i have my NEX-3 Red and I really enjoy about it. i have to admit that NEX5's shutter button position is easier to press than the nex 3.

It's now 2 month ago i've bought Nex-5. But i must say that you can not compare this DSLR with other ones.

I have the latest firmware.. but i am not able to catch the high picture quality like on my old Pentax K10D. I am not satisfied. The pictures have a light blur effect. It's very bad quality..

@uacosgun I agree I cant compare to another DSLR. I compare to my friend's Canon with Kit Lens. the canons pictures are a lot better than mine. but it's okay to me though. all I want that is something better than compact camera because actually i dont know much about camera but I like to take a photo . I think maybe it's about lense. if I had money I would buy the A-Mount adapter and buy A-Mount lense and try again. I never see ppl do that.

@ZKeeper43 Hey would recommend you to wait a few more weeks. As i heard SIGMA is going to make especially Lenses for the NEX series. You won't need any adaptor and you will also have the AF feature.

It's a wonderful camera if you're a user who likes better than point and shoot cameras but don't want the big bulk of dslrs. I have it and it takes amazing pictures for it''s size.

Don´t buy that SHIT of camera! I bought one on Singapur in my honey moon and back at Spain i tried to return to Sony. They didin´t take me serious and i have to sell it for the half i payed... Or keep with that POOR quality that gives the LENS.

You can see it in a video that i uploaded from a magazine.  (And because i've done a lot of test with my nex-5)
