Does the 120hz feature work in the 2D mode?

I can't believe Planar doesn't make this clear on their website! The wording can be taken either way. Gamers want a fast monitor and I'm holding off buying this until I find out. If it isn't, I'll get something else. Monitor manufacturers would make a KILLING if they made good fast reliable GAMING monitors. Hello? Money in the bank!

@TodayzTomSawyer yes. 3d mode produces two slightly offset 60hz image, and 2d uses one 120hz

I ended up sending them a question and talking on the phone to them. They cleared it up for me with what you said.

I got it yesterday and so far it looks great! What a difference from the 19" CRT I've been using for 12 years!

Has this monitor been sent out for any reviews? I'm seriously consider buying it, but for $500, I think I need to have a good comparison.
