The wraparound came preheat and all. It is a Lithonia circa 1981. The starter sockets are mounted on the ballast cover. You can actually see the starters glow through the diffuser, which was so cool I had to move it to the closet where thsi could be seen more easily and put a strip on the desk.
And for 15 watt tubes, I use F15T12's. The closet light in this vid has a GE F15T8, although that particular. light is no longer in the closet.
My schools had them too! Those are Sierra Electric stainless steel plates. These were later made by Pass and Seymour up until the early 2000's when P&S stopped putting lines on them. I got this at a used building parts store. If they don't have used building part stores in your area, I see these on ebay a lot so you could try there. I usually search for either sierra stainless or pass seymour stainless. Enjoy.
NewAgeServer, I now have a few extra of those plates if you want one. Several single gangs and a few double gangs. Send me a PM if you still want one and which kind you want. I have more singles than doubles. Also, if you'd like a spec grade switch with a brown toggle that I usually saw along with those when they were in my schools, I'd be happy to include one as well.

Did the wraparound fixture originally have a rapid start ballast? Are you using T8 or T12 15 watt tubes?
