This attempt was ok I guess, lessons can be learned from this game. I just do think the game is very limited. Finished the game in 2 days and spent more than half of the time getting to the dragon form (which is cool, but limited too). My advise: dont get the game unless you dont have to pay for it, even then consider this game as a "it's better than being bored" kinda thing.

I've only played the Demo, so I can't speak for the remaining gameplay, but so far: I can see and feel the potential for greatness, but as of now it needs polish. The concept is great, the combat needs tweaked; I'm relatively fine with the graphics, it is what it is.
If they only put a little more into it...
I'll buy the game eventually, but I'm not sure it warrants the cost at this point. For those who enjoy it, I'm glad you're having fun. :)

Mate, this game has NOTHING to do with Diablo, seriously. You just can't compare the two of them. Divine Divinity was relatively close to Diablo, pick it up if you want, the game is great, just keep in mind it is more RPG focused than Diablo.
Anyway, Divinity 2 has nothing to do with anything Diablo-ish.
And why isn't it? it's ABSOLUTELY the same, except it has an open-world structure, that's the only difference! Don't get me wrong, the term "Diablo clone" is not offensive, but saying Sacred isn't one is just silly, no offence.

I've fnished the game in german (borrowed from a friend) and will be byuing the english version once its out. its good, not great, but good, very good in fact... oh yes, the music is great :)
the estimated release date is "somewhere in dceember", and it tttok me about 23 hours to do the main quest, with quite a few side quests though, so expect the game to be around 30 if you want to do all the quests.
This game looks like what Fable, Oblivion and Lair should have been all rolled into one. I just started reading more about it and it has quickly became one of my most anticipated games. I cannot believe it is not getting more press. It looks simply fantastic. BTW, who is this theme music by?
dude! divine divinity was such an awesome in depth game. I trust divinity 2 will be just as good only this time in absolute 3-d world. and the music is the best. Much better than warcraft and many other games.
