  • Maxpedition's water bottle is just a Nalgene with a MP logo. Your filter was designed for a Nalgene.

  • how many mags would fit inside the main compartment?

  • @20GATE91 6+ mags

  • @ammosmith ok awesome. thanks

  • oh em gee why would you treat your glock like that?!? nice review.. id buy it, but its a bit expensive.. esp since i don't even have a gun.

  • Glocks are the toughest pistols I have used. I use the top of the slide as a knife sharpener.

  • wow, that's a pretty nice knife sharpener. The first pistol I buy will probably be a glock.. good track record.

  • I love all my guns. The Glock isn't for everyone. I advise people to go and examine as many as they can before they buy one. If it isn't comfortable then you won't shoot it well.

  • good advice. thanks.

  • Video proof that Tupperware cannot beat up Nalgene! -- Great review! I absolutely love my Jumbo VersiPack. Being a "righty" I got the S-style so that I could wear it on my weak side.

  • I just wanted to say thanks for the great pack. I was one of the winners earlier this summer. I've been using it for a EDC/BOB all summer and it carries a ton of stuff. Great pack!

  • Thanks! We will be reviewing more gear and doing more giveaways as Maxpedition allows.

  • is it still possible to win the pack ?

  • Not this go around. We will have another drawing for another piece of gear soon.

  • That water bottle is just a standard nalgene. Probably the most standard, popular and recognizable water bottle in existence. Of course the filter fits. There are thousands of company's that print there logos on those.

  • I've been using the Maxpedition Jumbo for about a year now in my travels around the world. One thing that you missed in your review is the user's ability to shrink the overall size of the pack by collapsing the water bottle carrier.

This is done by taking the bottle drawstring all the way in, fold the carrier to the main pack body and then attaching the velcro on the retention strap to the small spot on the bottom of the carrier.

This is a nice featur when you don't need the bottle along.

  • where can I purchase one of those water filters?

  • I got mine at REI.

  • Hi, I'm looking for a buttpack, a big buttpack. Hell, I'm looking for the biggest buttpack money can buy. Any suggestions?

  • @bryandenehy76 I keep hearing bad things about MSR Corp.... Can't tell you anything from experience, but people seem to dislike their products, or rather they dislike their build of quality and the fact that their pumps have too many moving parts,,,parts that will, allegedly, break on you at the worst possible time... Hmmm..

  • I'd probably choose the wrong type on purpose. I want the water bottle pouch to the front. I'm left handed.

  • I'm digging your reports on combat/survival gear.Keep it up!

  • Great video, sent to some friends. Thanks.

  • that is a great bag
