I have the Olympus u1000 that I got for a bargain in Singapore, and I love it. It's a great little camera with most of the stuff you mentioned, but I'd consider upgrading for that price, and the fact that I've a spare 8gb mini SD card lying around. I'd also like faster reaction time.
One question: Does it have the annoying "Guide" mode on the wheel? When you need night shot really fast and you twist the wheel only to end up being stuck on "how to use the "on" button"?
