I can't believe I missed this when I was probably just sitting downstairs on the front desk! I met Lisa when she came in for James Valentine, but I think this was another day? I AM A HUGE FAN! LISA IS BRILLIANT! (I told her too). Santa even brought me a eukalele so i can learn to play her sounds!! Ms. Chatfield pls let me know if you're ever hosting again?!
Good luck Lisa, hope you come back to Sydney soon!
What a beautiful video of Lisa! It was great to capture the intimate side of her performance. She seemed so at ease and happy to banter candidly. Shooting it on the rooftop, away from the world below must have brought it out in her. Thanks ABC radio for putting this up and sharing it with the fans. We love it!
Abc radio excellent job! Could not hear any air conditioner. Liked how you panned the roof top. The decision to let Lisa interact with the bugs was cool. All in all a very natural touch to a well done music video. Lastly, Lisa sounded great!
Lisa: Now you can truly say you have performed duets with two separate "Cockroaches" on both ends of the globe! ...One down under, (now deceased) and a bigger one with funny ears back in Ireland. What's the difference between Damien Rice and a sperm cell? Correct answer: ...A sperm cell one day will have a 1 in 200 million chance of becoming. A human being.
nice to hear an old song again! :) still beautiful. and nice to see Lisa's genuine human side! :) What a great vid! I dont like the camera though...shadows (and even the camera guy's one) in her face? i didn't want to see that fluffy microphone either! but all in all, this is a true gem!
@abcradionational well actually I could see a guy at one point, as well, and fluffy bunnies are fine, but it doesn't look very professional to me when you can see them (or was it a special artistic intension?) :) but as i said, it's a very good video and my personal favourite though. i shouldn't and don'tjudge, I don't make films, its just an opinion :)
@abcradionational but the whole fly thing and cocroaches were very good on the other hand...i just couldn't stand the fact i couldn't see her face properly :)
Love you Lisa

In which we learn that flies in Ireland are not as pushy as Australian ones, and that even Lisa's lovely tones can't raise a cockroach from the dead.

ABC doesn't have the budget for proper lighting let's face it. Nice recording in spite of the wind and air-con! Great song.

Sydney Funnel-web Spiders ( Atrax robustus ) prefer listening to beautiful songs and are found on the rooftops of Australian buildings .
It is large, aggressive and has powerful fangs and looks like a cockroach (Periplaneta australiensis) for Irish singers.
I`m only joking here in Hamburg, Germany.
Thanks for sunny moments at the beginning of the European winter.

Amazing how a simple song, sunshine and a beautiful girl can make a grown man (who should know better) ache inside.

@lisasfanno1 The shadows you see on Lisa's face are the wooden planks of the pergola above. And you didn't like our fluffy bunny??

I like the non-pofessionnal aspect of her videos. It's simple and natural... as she is. Even the fly incident was funny. Thanks for sharing !!!

Did that cockroach have to pay a cover charge? I'm guessing he hitched a ride from New York. I'd recognized him immediately. RIP Mr. C Roach. TI
