seems like a lot of extra curlies with tight curls do lose their hair by the hairline.. i think it could be from too much brushing and pulling...so be gentle with your hair... use coconut oil to lubricate the scalp.. that is what we use here in our salon.
hair breaks when wet.. if you overstretch the hair as in blowdrying.. then it can break... i would suggest deva products.. do not use any shampoo with sodium lauryl sulfate... i suggest to do the Deva system.. this is what we do in my curly hair salon.. also take vitamins for hair growth.. curly hair is the dryest hair on the planet.. so do not shampoo hair too much.... I use a silk pillowcase.. that works..
warm the oil before you apply.then take small partitions and gently massage the oil on your scalp. leave it overnight and then wash off with Shikakkai which is a powder of a dry fruit of a plant. you can get it in the Indian stores. make a paste with the powder and water and use it instead of shampoo. then dry your hair naturally. this will surely give good results.
Inane been using the amla oil for over 4years now and I love it my hair is in awesome condition it's grown so much it's alot thinker and manageable.seriously I think everyone should buy it. @xhen12 HI XHEN12, SORRY FOR THE LATE REPLY. IT'S PAINTED ON SOME TYPE OF SPONG FRABIC,IT'S ALSO EMBOSS. IT IS REALY A COOL PIECE. GLAD YOU LIKE IT. THANK YOU.
I apply the Alma oil to my scalp overnight. I replaced the top of the ALMA oil with a sprayer to control the amount when applying. Next I wash the ALMA oil out the next day. Then I use "Kimmay Tube leave in conditioning recipe." I really like the Alma oil, especially for transitioning hair. The Alma oil keeps the hair moisturized and very manageable. It also reduces breakage. This is my regimen and it works for me.
yes,Dabur amla Gold contains henna and almond oil besides Amla.i use it regularly and it realy does work.stops hairfall and thinkens the hair.my hair grew arround 9 cm of length in 2 months
@Leotha123 So has this oil been doing good for your hair? I am looking to stop castor oil and find another oil that will do something for me. I may give Amla oil a try or mustard seed oil.
i went to my local indian store today and am excited to try these product. i got the parachute gold coconut oil (using as pre-poo). vatika enriched coconut oil, and this dabur light hair oil w/lemon.. so i almost peed on myself to find these products all in one place and the ingredients were awesome (except for some mineral oil and laurel sulfate hear and their.. avoided what i new i would not use) and now I am just waiting to see what my hair does..I love Cheap and these prod were def. cheap
I use the oil Alma with coconut, got it in Dubai. Real cheap price. It seems to work in dry conditions best. I use it when I shave the beard and on my hair usually cut low fade. It got ride of the hair bums along the neck it pulls the dirt from the pores and softens the skin with a great smell. girls love the scent which I feel is unisex.
Every one uses it in Dubai even though they are super rich. It is good to see Afro care from where we came coming State side.

Haiiii, I have a question?.. When you put the alma oil, do you have to wash it off? or can I just leave it in my hair?
