  • wu 4 eva Rza was not rapping of beat listen to the snare and rhymes its compacted to add more vocabulary then the rhythm loops from snare to snare classic underground flow

  • Better quality HD version: watch?v=zKF3qcJh45Y&hd=1

  • Comment removed

  • True Master Produced this amazing track. Rza is credited with Co-Producing it. The influence of The Rza is just mezmorizing Hip Hop is going through a cycle like all things in life. I give much respect to ONEoak. They got a good underground Hip Hop sound.

  • Back in the 90's...before Eminem and 50.

  • 83 People DID NOT protect their neck

  • (-;

  • Last of the wuhicans!!!!!

  • 2:17 his brain's short circuited lol Rza shaved that nigga's neck xD

  • CLASSIC HIP-HOP

  • Samurai Apocalypse

  • lol this shit is so dope..

  • dude need to slow down and flow to the beat

  • @908LuX973 how are you going to tell a Wu Tang member how to rap? get the fuck out of here.

  • @morge23mfec im not tellin nobody how to rap, just sayin what would sound better to me. and not every member of wu tang was ill. the fuck u care anyway?

  • @908LuX973 What the fuck is wrong with you, everyone in Wu rips on the mic

  • @mmmmbois O D B all i gotta say

  • @908LuX973 well thats a personal opinion, i think ODB was an unreal mc, he had a different flow, the man was completely original, sure he's not the strongest in the group but compared to some of these shit "rappers" today like lil wayne and wiz khalifa you can't see he's not good

  • @mmmmbois i feel u on that tho, i cant even listen to most rappers today and dont get me started on wayne, drake, khalifa, flocka, kanye, etc. and yea i was only stating my opinion, on other songs he flows right but i feel he could have slayed this beat

  • @908LuX973 he was rhyming off beat so you can hear the lyrics. Because when you ride the beat sometimes you just caught up in the song and not the lyrics

  • hello, my name is hip-hop....madafakin definition of rap instrumental

  • this shit is like a movie

  • You don't see videos like this anymore either, shame.

  • the rza lyrics. like a chess board.

  • Just saw RZA and Wu last night. Love how they can still hold it down. Wu Tang Forever

  • is this Phi-Life Cypher - Babylonians sample?

  • grab a life saver i jaw brake ya boston bake ya and plant my sunflower on every square acre....RZA

  • check out ODB's brother he's got some video's on my page. DUDE IS ILL!!!

  • whoa wtf i had to pause it for a second if you a old head like me you remember the days when you wanted fangs like that then you had the baby fangs too.. thats why half the cats you see in video walk like that when they rhyme because of the swagger the whole Wu-Tang army had....Real Talk.....didn't mean to double post YTP (YouTube People....for some dumb@z thats going to ask that dumb @z question)

  • No lie i used to be able to rap like the Rza ..... do me a favor YT now that i'm thinking about it don't thumbs up that played out ass "Arrow to the knee" bs no more thats sh*t got old QUICK!....i know that was random and i just said f*ck it for saying that but.........................F*ck it........lmao

  • This video and the video for "The night the earth cried" by Gravediggaz (which RZA directed) are two of the best hip hop vids ever made.

Goddamn i really miss the 90's right now.

  • rza is the greatest...

  • Peace to the God RZA. He is so razor sharp. This song right here is so creative. RZA always been one too think outside of the box. He can be very complex at times. He is one of the greatest minds in this world . He's a scientist , and I guess this experiment went over a lot of people head.

  • i dunno why, but ive never been able to enjoy or get into wu tang/rza and im one of the biggest hiphop heads i know, bumping only 90s east coast shit (premo, pete rock, nas, az, oc, mobb deep - the list goes on). someone help me!

  • @HSzach it ain't for everybody, im from the south & i'll bang a wu track b4 i bang some of south ish, that's just me, im a thinker, i like lyrics, substance, no one should limit themselves just because they from somewhere different, e40 and mc eight are some of my faves as well, ugk, face, suc, outkast, dj magic mike(yea, that bass musak from back in the gap) the list goes on, i like club bangers too but the media & record execs are at fault for the state hip hops in....

  • @HSzach not to mention pete rock cl smooth, 3 x's dope, poor righteous teachers, x clan, jeru the damaja, etc. now east coast cats like maino? garbage, rick ross garbage, it's what moves and touches your soul, some things just aren't meant for everybody, i love louisiana but lil boosie to me? garbage! lil flip garbage! but i respect there hustle and support them but i won't buy there music, it don't move me, peace & God bless, hope that helped a lil

  • RZA is meditating right now in the middle of a jungle in China with his pet tiger.

  • RZa is true hip-hop many people my age wouldnt get his lyrics cause they dont listen, they would rather listen to the beats of wayne or drake, they are disgrace to the name of hip-hop

  • @superman200000 true shit right here man

  • This niggas flow is so WEAK!!!

  • you ALREADY KNOW !!!!!!!

  • @mrD66M man, those words are so true

  • I wish I heard this 10 years ago, I've been stuck on WEST COAST music. Don't get me wrong will always represent the West but got LOVE for the EAST now.

  • vidéo de grande qualité ,RZA est incontestablement le chef d'orchestre du WU

  • Damn this takes me back!!! We use to beat this track... WORD!!!!!!!!

  • no wordz, wutang forever!!!

  • words from RZA (quote from wikipedia)

"How has the South dominated hip hop for the last four, five years without lyrics, without hip hop culture really in their blood? Those brothers came out representing more of a stereotype of how black people are, and I think the media would rather see us as ignorant, crazy motherfuckers than seeing us as intelligent young men trying to rise and take care of ourselves"

  • @mrD66M thats true words man thats exactly what i think

  • @mrD66M im from east coast providence ri and i agree with you... keep it going goin bro let nothing hold you back.

  • @mrD66M yup, think about Boyz in the hood and these movies these comedy hood movies, Boyz in the Hood, was a real movie with characters and situations we can relate to and it was SERIOUS. They want hood but they dont want us taken serious. Even the Ying Yang twins complained about how people was taking them seriously, which is why they can't their dreds and cut down on that crazy talk.

  • @mrD66M I love RZA and all of Wu-Tang, but if he said this I'd like to know when he said it and who he was talking about specifically. There have been lyrical artists from the South. And as far as ignorant, crazy black men perpetuating negative black stereotypes, ODB (bless his soul) wasn't exactly changing any stereotypes. Plus, good lyrics haven't been part of mainstream hip hop for a long time anyway--didn't Masta Killa tell us the "dumb are mostly intrigued by the drum?"

  • @teejaybee83 I do agree, it doesn't say on wiki what exactly was the occasion or who was RZA referring to by that comment, what I do see in general in entertainment is people setting trends and people following them. the media stereotype about black people especially those in entertainment is always going to emphasise what is more shocking and any good deeds will be overlooked in comparison with bad rep, hence ODB would be somewhat of a trend setter even if not an altogether positive role model

  • @mrD66M It's a great quote, and he probably did state this at some point, but I wouldn't casually trust Wikipedia as a reliable source.

  • @mrD66M Um from the south................and you just spoke the truest words ever spoken on Youtube!!!!

  • Robert Fitzgerald Diggs....a mind on a different plane to most

  • I'd like to see any of todays so called Hip Hop artists make you feel like these songs did way back when. I was in High School when this joint came out and it still holds up 2day!!! Lyricists don't get record deals anymore, Puppets do!

  • Wu Tang Clan, possibly THE biggest inspiration (Along with Zulu Nation) to the creation of: - world Wide connects - International Organization for True Hip Hop

    Eternal respect to the RZA.

  • SO BRING DA RUCKUS NOW IF YA CAN

  • LEGENDARY

  • rza excelent producer, decent lyricist, and knows how to hold him self down. a real heavy weight.

  • DOPE TRACK AND VIDEO!!!

  • DOPE TRACK AND VIDEO!

  • classic, fucking sick track!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i seen him in a movie called "be cool"

  • To say the Rza was ahead of his time is putting it lightly.. Lyrics are so on point its unreal.. One of my all time fave tunes from one of the few people I called a hero when in my teens (cant believe this was back in '97 but then been a fan of the Wu since 36 chambers came out)

  • 1:56 Real geeky / nerdy part starts.

  • @BigBangTheoryPhD wtf u on about... is it cause he uses some bigger than average words than ur average rapper would use lol?

  • @BigBangTheoryPhD what @gettz79 said.... ppl think those metaphors that lil wayne does are "smart" that shit is stupid. that part in this song is one of the sickest

  • @guitarchim Agreeed.. Also the BIG difference is that Rza the knew exactly what he was talking about.. Not simply banging words together like some blind wordsmith so as to simply "sound technical". He crafted lyrics with deep metaphysical meaning & made beats that would be the envy of an entire generation of artists, he also invented numerous styles. Modern day hiphop fans who dont realise this are clueless to the roots of the golden era we older peeps had the honour of basking in.

  • @Zenman1976 OMG you sooo fucking right. Alot of producers from the 90's and now are so envious & jealous of The RZA, yet they ALL follow his formula when producing. Theres only a few that give credit when credit is due.

  • Comment removed

  • I don't know how rza does it.everybody thinks about putting a crew together, and it always ends up being a mess.cash money, ruff ryders,no limit, death row, murda ink.wu tang is real.the concepts are real, and not about money.this video alone shows rza in his elemental peak.

  • @17234772918711255237 The Rza is one of a kind.. Not many are as wise as he is, thats for sure..

  • @Zenman1976 He kept me sane in days when I saw the world in a way noone else seemed to.. His music made me aware that I was not alone & in very good company spiritually.

He was more than a hip hop artist (imo). He was manifest to spread wisdom in the form of a medium that would reach a lot of people who needed to hear it. One of many sparks that would set the fire of truth blazing for the times we now face.

"Givin sight to the blind, the dumb are mostly intruiged by the drum" ;)
