The bailouts were not necessary. The democrats did it so they could have campaign money! The thing about capitalism is that it always fixes itself. Once a business goes down a new one will step up in its place. Look around! We're still in the same crap(if not worse) that we were in before the bailouts. Well FDR sure as hell didn't get us out of the problem, the war did. So the Dems aint got nothing. FDR's CCC and other things like that didn't do anything. All it did was throw money at things that didn't make income. Government Aid didn't get us out of the depression and it ain't going to get us out of this resession. Now that the market is as large as it is it wouldn't take that long to fix itself. While GM and Ford were failing other car companies have steped up in it's place.

I just viewed 2 documentaries made in 2006 about the banks Americans bailed out and the 29% interest charged to the American people who cannot pay off their credit cards.. about the Presidents from Reagan on using upp all the money we have paid into social security to pay the interest on debt owed to other countries.
