Just my opinion but I think when someone has never seen nails this long before it catches them off-guard and because they are not used to seeing them, it looks disgusting and gross. But when I was a kid I remember as far back as 4th Grade (I'm talking Mid-1970's) girls would compete to see who could grow their nails the longest, with some impressive results. Today it's beyond an afterthought. It seems just as "unethical" for a girl to have nails showing past her fingertips as it is for a man.

Your hands with these nails look really gorgeous, and so does all the work you do with your hands. Your nails cultivate all the tasks you do with your hands. I am wondering how you manage that these long nails look so natural. I bet that you do not perceive them as an obstacle and feel very comfortable with them. They are natural. My mother used to have super-long nails like that. They started to curl. It's really not my cup of tea, but then again, I never liked my mother...so that might have something to do with it. haha :) Nice video. Congrats on the nails. @Powsser Of course it is impossible for you to function when you go from no nail length to long nail length in a matter of minutes w/acrylics. People that grow their own nails learn to function because it is a matter of a long time period of adjustment to the slow changes of growth-slow transition. They learn to function & the things that they find that they can't do, they will just learn other methods & tricks to get it done.

For ex. you can use the back of a spoon to open a soda can.
