i have battlefield 3 installed from disc(through origin) and the folder of the game located

C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3.... and i don't have it named with the (TM) thingy.. when i launch bf3 campaign, it get stuck at "Initializing" and when i launch multiplayer it get stuck on "joining server".... i'm not able to play it:( any help? please?

When that happens to me, I close Origin if it is running and when you click start game or anything like that it starts origin and starts correctly, but I still have problems with crashing. Even in multiplayer :/

@CooLDaX people seem to have conflict with bots this was one if its errors you need to test all things to help people fix all types of problems ..so yes i was testing this out yet this was only 15% Reg error on the PB database due to bad checks in the Hex files

@tideend1654 check your ERROR LOG file and it will tell you witch file your missing but easy fix is go to Origin and right click your game and it will say fix and replace will not re-download the whole game just the missing files

Open "settings" in origin, click the "in game" tab, uncheck or disable the "enable origin in game" box

This solved the problem with multiplayer for me.

My problem is that when i enter the game with settings higher than low the game crashes every 2-5 minutes. in the beta it did the same just with lagg. when i enter a game with low settings and change to ultra it doesnt lagg and doesnt crash.

heey ive got the exact problem just bought the game a 2days ago as ive already finished campaign without no lagg nor any freezes/lags than i started to get into multi-player suddenly all the freezes/crashes happen but it's only one common crash it freezes and the sound also freezes i cant ctrl alt delete only way is to reset the system it happens either middle/end of the round iff not than within the second or third round il crash, anyone have the same problem?

@Garcoly well i install it in a different place so yours mite be in the C;/ or Program files 86or anywhere you installed it other people install it wherever they want ..if you have a desktop icon of BF3 RIGHT CLICK PROPERTIES FIND TARGET .. that all i can tell you hope that helps if not uninstall it re install it to a place you know you will remember
