Well. *this* Christian doesn't care for the beliefs and approaches of Josh McDowell or Lee Strobel. And I have attended gay pride events to show my love for and solidarity with LGBTQI folk. And I'm quite comfortable admitting and embracing my times of doubt. But then again, I'm a progressive Christian. : )
Actually with the exception of the last one, i have said a lot of that to my atheist friends, so for you to say that christians do not say this, please do not include all christians, not all are nuts, some are nice.
@DanielSchaffiro And that is probably the sad part, I do know some good christians, but we get drowned out by the nuts sadly. They throw their beliefs around, and hell it even says in the bible, not to do that, so i give up on these christians nowadays, they are not humble, they do not respect others, and they judge others, and do not believe in the golden rule, how sad, no wonder so many are going atheist nowadays, nothing wrong with that, but christians are driving away the nice people

I have atheist, gay, chirstian, buddhist freinds, and you're right it's so sad how the looney christians give everyone else a bad rap, so it kinda hurts when my beliefs get made fun of even if I decide to accept people as they are :/
@missNewVegas Thanks, i think that a lot of christians forget the best values of the bible, humility, love, and compassion, even if a person does not believe in god, they can at least admit, that those are good values, but sadly christians a lot of them do not. But there are those like you, and me :D
