Tire hop feels horrible. It happened to me whe I got new wheels on my suburban. Feels like the whole car is gooing to fall apart. Or maybe suburbans are not ment to do burnouts....

@chevyslick I'm a Ford guy, but I owned a '76 camaro before. And to be fair, monte carlos have a lot more weight to keep it from hopping than foxbodys. But we should all join forces as one muscle car unit! And take out the rice burners!!!!

@kreigsmann haha nice. i got a cold air intake (K&N) in mine right now and some flowmaster exhaust. next upgrade will be just a single turbocharger then i want a kenne bell supercharger. maybe a 2.6 but will prolly be a 2.1

How do I stop my stang fro hoping?? Running lakewood lca's with poly bushings,eibach front drag springs,4cyl fox rears with lmn drag bags, as far as suspension goes...Just installed a 3300stall and wheel hop is crazy now...rolling on nitto 555r's for the street.

What should my next suspension chasis mod be to solve this isuue?? Anyone??

Put them quad shocks back in or buy new rear control arms,springs, and rear shocks and that won't be a problem no more! It sucks cause my fox did the same thing

hey bro no offense it's a mustang and unless you bought it new she has been beat like a red headed step child..so i would def jack up the car by the pumkin on the rear end and support it on jack stands under the doors and get on a creeper grab a tire and see what has play in rear end.move it up and down also forward and back .i would recomend you replace it with ford motorsport..cheaper than paying a mechanic to press bushings and better perfomance when it is done

i didnt have that problem till i welded in frame bars and i have new shocks in the rear of mine and still same problem

they say converting them to a torque arm setup and removing the top links (like an f-body gm) is a good way to eliminate that problem

And?....You can still use traction bars on a coil spring rear. The snubbers contact the floorpan instead. Really though all you need is better lower control arms.

ya i know.....but thats exactly what I mean. There are way better ways to correct that problem than to put a goddey set of traction bars on it. His upper shocks are probibly done and thats all it will take. Ive owned two of those with stock rubber size and suspension and never had that problem. anyways its his problem and this isn't a "tech forum" so arguing about his car isn't going to get us anywhere.
