This 'bongos' version was the actual version intended for release as a Christmas single in 1979, but Christmas approached too quickly and they held off releasing it until 1980, where it was re-recorded and given a proper treatment with heavy layering and a lush chours. Only problem is it failed to make an impact in the December 1980 charts as the country and the rest of the world were mourning the death of a Beatle.

i think BFL is a bit closer to kate's spirit than florence. just because i think it sounds just tad more 'new' and progressive.
