  • Part of its intention...its reason for being was its representation and respect for the impermanent as nature intends....now as it has been desicrated....its reason for being has been ended....in my opinion ...before its time....

  • That is beautiful...I don't think ANYONE really knows what it was for, its not like we were there !!! LOL

  • Well, it was either move it or watch it being washed out to sea. As for it being a "holy" site, it was a pagan site, a place where our superstitious, primitive ancestors worshiped an imaginary super-being. hmmmm, we still do that today, don't we?

  • @Bullettube We do it today and always have done. No need to assume that people in the past were primitive. Humankind has never and will never change.

  • Yes, it WAS unique until you bloody vandals dug it up and moved it !! HOW DARE YOU. IT WAS A SACRED SITE NOT JUST A CIRCLE OF WOOD. DIDN'T YOU GET THE POINT IT WAS WHERE IT WAS NOT the bits of wood. Why don't you move Stonehenge somewhere else it's only a pile of stones, just stone Leggo really. I hope you never sleep thinking what you have done.
