Arabs have more rights in Israel than they have in ANY Arab country. Israel got 20% of the land by the British mandate, 80% of the remaining Palestinian land remained islamic anyway. The capital of Palestine is Amman, complain with them why they don't want to accept their own people while Israel is taking in people from ALL over the world

Actually, Israel, like may 'Western' countries, denies asylum to most migrants seeking sanctuary and refugee status based on sexuality.

The systematic rejection of queer individuals is not a new story to Israel.

During the first few decades after its establishment in '48, Israel would deny the Law of Return to queer Jews (as we as Jews of color - mostly from northern Africa).

Please don't preach this 'Israel is a haven for queer rights' line. It's old, outdated, and an insult to Stonewall.

Provide me pictures of those events and I'll take your criticism of Israel seriously. Israel has the same rights for gays as the most "progressive" EU and North American countries.. what else do you want? The law of return covers anyone with a Jewish grandparent.. they don't ask if you're "queer."

In regards to the law of return being denied to queer jews and jews of color...that is well documented. I have met numerous moroccan jews who have experienced it first hand.

Re: 'being progressive'. There does not exist a single 'EW or North American' state that is not heterocapitalist. And I would love to hear you defend the position that Israel (or ANY other country of the Global North) protects (or has ever protected) queer communities.

I can give you the names of dozens of asylum seekers who have migrated to Canada in search of sanctuary under the grounds of persecution. These refugees have all been denied status. People such as Leonardo Zuniga and Alvaro Orozco who are deemed 'not gay enough' by Immigration officials are now facing deportation. This is the same story in Israel, Sweden, Turkey, and the list goes on and on.
