@BirdOfParadise777 They held up really well. They took more damage from sitting in storage than from the convention. But I only wore them twice because they're such a pain to walk around in.

ah, see this is where you are wrong: the feathers must be curving INWARD especially if you are aiming for a bird... check out any picture of a wing, and they dont face curving out.

Pppfffft, hotglue isn't that sticky. And I would imagine you're using high temp hot glue. I would recomend lowtemp for feathers.

Also, if you want stick and harsh try J.B.weld. Its freaking awesome, but its toxic and if you get it on your skin prepare to burn.

@HomeOfRandomDotCom The feathers I used were real. You can use fake feathers. It just depends on the look you want. I got my feathers at rainbowfeathers(dot)com. 1 pound cost be about $115, I think.

my tips to prevent these things from happening to u are...#1 dont have a sleepover at a friends house if it is outside and he has access to a pitchfork...#2 only ride a bike that u know has breaks that work...#3be more careful near the road

fabritac is also a good glue to use, alot better than regular glue and a hot glue gun., But cost wise, it's about 10$ for a big botle, maybe cheaper if you get it on sale. I've had my wings for 3 years now, still the feathers haven't come off. <3

I got confused on the feather laying. Wouldn't you but the spine side down when its open up front and then lay them up in the back? Im going from a birds view here.. lol

Yes. I think we're actually on the same page. The "inside" or the part closer to me when they're on, has it spine up. The part facing away from me, the opposite side, has them spine down.

If that is confusing also, just go with, like you side, how a bird's wings are. Lay them out first before gluing. When you physically see it, it makes more sense than it does in writing.
