@eddiemperor Look up Fidel Castro en Argentina 2003. It should pop up. there's a couple of different versions of it, but their spliced up into 16-20 vids. One guy even provides a link where you can download the whole thing. It's 2.5 hours long.
Let's hear from the "real" Cubans..not a unelected self serving fascist(communist) diktator! Castro is just a latter day version of Batista! Most Cubans are STILL POOR-
while Castro who was born wealthy is still rich! He talks about helping the poor-but
only he, his family and cronies are well off! Basically just another diktator!
@gameslammer666 you should actually be happy when that happens,he wins people over by using pretty words, but we in cuba have been in the same corrupted bullshit thanks to him,and thanks to the fact that i live in US im able to post a comment on the internet since that son of a bitch wont let us do so in cuba

USA act as God an try to control. either you follow there system otherwise your are are dictator! the truth is that every country have its right to do it in there own way and the wishes of its people.- Cuba and fidel is an example of that.- and I am not a communist or cuban, but never forget that fiedel is tru leader
The people claiming that Fidel is anti-imperialist are stupid. The primary currency in Cuba now is pegged to the US dollar. What this means is that fluctuations in the US economy have the same (if not greater) effects in Cuba. So guess what, the Cuban economy is now fully dependent on the success of the US economy. So much for self-determination.
@fshjshshhs This is an example of why I made this video. Fidel discusses currency and economics. They use two currencies in Cuba. Listening to what he actually says or wrote about these topics will help someone develop a better informed perspective than only receiving or subjecting him or herself to ridiculous statements such as this one that imply that Cuba has somehow sacrificed its sovereignty over its currency.
Thank you Fidel Castro for telling us the true! I do not support youy goverment but I think you are right this time, the media will not reveal us the true but you did it.

wow, that was the most retarded statement I've ever read. You wrote: "Fidel is an expression of the self-determination of Cubans." Really? Has he held a vote to determine that? If you aren't Cuban, which I'm guessing you're not, you're the biggest hypocrite alive. How do you know how Cubans feel? I can tell you with certanity that he does not represent the views of ANY of my relatives that are forced to live under his tyranny. Stop justifying dictatorship- you'll fail.
@fshjshshhs I'm an American citizen. My views and perspective are based on what I can reasonably ascertain. The Cubans have an electoral system. Its not similar to ours. I'm sure it has its advantages and disadvantages, just like ours. This is a man that was drawing a million people into the streets way back in 1959. Do you think he defeated Batista by himself , or did he represent the will of the people in that instant and subsequently betrayed it?
@fshjshshhs If we were to base what we can reasonably ascertain, conjecture, or know, on whether we personally knew someone who lived in a country, we'd all be very ignorant. Do I need to personally know someone in Cuba to know that Fidel socialized medicine in Cuba and that Cuban doctors save lives all over the world, or that the U.S. maintains an economic blockade against Cuba that is a violation of international law, or that Fidel Casto was a central figure in the missile crises of 1961, etc?

LMAO uve never been to cuba , u dont know , first hand experience gives the truth unlike ur US propoganda
im not sayin its heaven m gd n bad everywher em but u have betta chance being black n poor n cuba than beign black n poor n america , its a more just system ,
lol , u gotta look at this more maturely , in state of all war an invasion , europe n america rules that r jus like dictatorship dont they? for quick mobility of defense , cuba has been under state of economic blocade n terorism by US , bay of pigs , n even 600 plus assaination attmepts of Castro , wud wud u do ? get destroyed n fuck everything the revolution brought? ur too close minded my friend , u have to analyse it fairly instead of simply stating poorly backed up facts ,
once again, I'm cuban, you don't have to convince me, I'm already convinced... yes, fuck the so call 'revolution" I'd call it dictatorship. And once again, I'm not saying the world is a paradise and Cuba is a hell hole, I'm just saying there is a lot of things under the table that make us cubans suffer. I don't understand why people around the world support Fidel (government) over the people. It's suppose to be people for the people, always against or at least questioning the gov.
We don't support Fidel over the people of Cuba, an example is the blockade. A majority of Americans are against it. It is universally opposed in Cuba, even by dissidents. Anti-Castro people who support the blockade place themselves in an acute contradiction when they claim to speak on behalf of the Cuban people, while failing to show solidarity with the Cuban people on this most vital of issues. There's no reason for Americans to hate Castro. This video aims to introduce him and undemonize him.
@ernestoniebla People around the world support Fidel becaus they never live in Cuba and they see this romantic revolutionary person that fight against U.S. It is typical of younger naive youth to glorify Fidel. In my Spain, I see friends that say-"I'm going to Cuba, I'm very excite to go." Alot come back and say "Bad food, sad, no provisions available outside of hoteles" To have them understand, you send them away from their world of computars and videogames to live like true Cuban in Cuba.
@ernestoniebla Then your not Cuban, because Fidel Castro is Cuba. You know once I thought just like you then I saw other countries. Countries sold out to Americans and Europeans where they say you have the right to Vote but a President has no power and If the majority votes a Socialist he/she will be overthrown. And what freedom do you have in those countries? U might buy the newest Nike shoes because u can, but this is where freedom ends and not where it begins!
@ernestoniebla I think you mean the lack of the ability to import from america is why the cubans suffer like they are, as well as price of all cuban exports are driven down like mad because they cannot import to america
@ernestoniebla people world wide support his dictatorship because it was attacked by other imperialist nations worldwide from the beggining of Castro's government. The banking families world wide set out to destroy castro and destroy cuba. They did what they set out to do and now cuba is in ruins. Therefore if a person opposes the banking families and their economic empires then that person will likely support Castro's regime- regardless of how tyrannical it was forced to become to defend itself
i agree, hotchoccolate23. fidel's restrictive measures can be justified. if he hadn't taken those measures to protect the people from imperialist propaganda, cuba would be the de facto property of the US long before this. the revolutionary govt wouldn't have lasted so long
Listen to me, I'm the cuban people, I'm not longer living there but I was two years ago, you were "defending" me two years ago while I was hating more than ever Fidel and I was trying to find a way to scape like most of my friends and family. Listen to me, listen to Yoani Sanchez, she is speaking the truth. Abajo Fidel
@ernestoniebla you left a cuban dictatorship to then defend worldwide tyranny. all forms of authoritarianism is terrible. Economic dictatorship is just as deadly as a physical army-imposed tyranny.
Well, u must admit that Cubans have something that even Americans don´t have: FREE HEALTH CARE!
and compared to other countries in the region Cuba is lot safer: less crime and much more stable than say Haiti or even Jamaica which has lot of gang violence.
Life expentacy is a lot longer in Cuba too than other Carribean & Latin American countries there r other things too but I´m a bit busy at the moment so perhaps another time I´ll add somethinh

R U black and poor? if not don't say anything, if yes then why don't you just pack your things and go to live over there.
it's a more just system in theory but believe me when I say it's not as just as they (the government) say it is.
It's a 50 years dictatorship, and that my friend is wrong, is bad, is against every right, it's madness. Good luck

lol , u gotta look at this more maturely , in state of all war an invasion , europe n america rules that r jus like dictatorship dont they? for quick mobility of defense , cuba has been under state of economic blocade n terorism by US , bay of pigs , n even 600 plus assaination attmepts of Castro , wud wud u do ? get destroyed n fuck everything the revolution brought? ur too close minded my friend , u have to analyse it fairly instead of simply stating poorly backed up facts ,

once again, I'm cuban, you don't have to convince me, I'm already convinced... yes, fuck the so call 'revolution" I'd call it dictatorship.

Fuck off with I am a cuban shit. You are probably a gringo sitting on your arse in miami rolling joints infront of your PS3

@ernestoniebla I think you mean the lack of the ability to import from america is why the cubans suffer like they are, as well as price of all cuban exports are driven down like mad because they cannot import to america
majikninja07 1 year ago
