Love the U.K sound, yeah it pays homage to chic, Nile/Rodgers, etc.

High Quality ... but needed transatlantic hits to break through.

Most great U.K funk was re recorded by other artists to recoup loot.

I would agree with your observation free2bpoppie.Delegation sounds like Chic to me as well. I believe this is one of the reasons why Delegation could never break into the U.S. soul R & B charts. They couldn't destinglish themselves enough from the Chic sound to get radio play time, meanwhile. Together, Bernard Edwards & Nile Rodgers produced many of the most popular and memorable disco hits of the 1970's and 1980's.
