@montgal52 Hi - I just tested video on the abcnews site and was able to record it with WM Recorder 14 - no problem. If you contact tech support and send in the specific URL they can help you figure out why you weren't able to record the site.

hey for some reason whenever I go onto youtube wm recorder doesn't record things on there but only on other video websites why is that

@BrontoSmilodon1 Howdy - the latest version is 14.6 - make sure you have that - because there was an issue with one of the 14 and certain PCs not working with Youtube.  I hope that helps.

This is great! if i play a movie; like a dvd...maybe even using InterVideo WinDVD (Windows XP) ...could it record from that as well AND have good quality?

@konoichi318 Well noooo...to capture a DVD you would need a program like WM Capture - which does an excellent job doing just that thing...

so if you start recording midway in a video, it records from where you start to where you end? like recording clips?

@VoicesToldMeTooh No - A stream capture recorder like WM Recorder 14 will record an entire stream. You can't record in the middle. A screen capture program will record just the part of the screen you want to record - so you can capture just a bit of a video really easily.
