This was one of his first atp tour tournaments after a 2 year ban, and he was inocent!! this match meant like a revenge for him that's why he fought badly and played the best tennis against a best Federer version (he was dominating the tour at the time!!) Incredible match, incredible comeback from Canas, probably the best come back of all time! only a few 5 months before this match he had no ranking!

Absolutely. Roger Federer is the greatest of all time by far. Guillermo Canas is dirt on the bottom of his shoe. He needed many things to go well for him in order to win. It was unusual for that many things to go well for him. It's luck.
