Im not saying he wasnt AMAZING (Cuz He Is) But he would have never gotten that kind of attention on the voice. Also, The Voice was all about "Voice, Artistry, Fans, and Which Judge Can Make You Famous" He probably would have went to Christinas Group and not have made it to the top 16 cuz she picked all amazing diva girls.

I LOVE this performance. Ok, maybe it wasn't the most technically proficent etc and I guess when you're down to the final 3, you want to be techn. prof. But this performance has it's own charm! It's left field in such a way that it makes you laugh with surprise and delight. To see David, in what I consider to be a flattering and coordinated outfit, up their bopping in time to the music (& doing a good job of that despite Simon's remark) singing this song...well it equals 'fun' & 'good times' :)

David is a pro. This is not really a song for him, but he sang it well and was very good natured about the judge's criticism.

He knows who he is, and had fun with this. He was, by far, the best singer in the history of the show, and elevated the show to heights it hadn't seen before. He also injected some real class and humanity to a show that can be ruthless at times.
