in Cenepa War Between Peru And Ecuador, a couple of Mi-24 was Donwned too
The first with a Portable rocket guided by helicopters'radio waves , the second by Ecuatorian Igla rocket..

it can carry up to 8 fully equiped troups into battle.. usa has to use black hawks + little birds to protect them, this chopper does it at once !
