lol. Those are the old rims. I had the original brushed silver color aluminum rims, and I had them sand blasted and chromed. A place called Waldoch Custom Centers did it for me. If your planning on doing it though, it isnt cheap.

ya. I had to spend ALOT of money to buy mine. Its in perfect condition so it was worth the price. If you know anything about working on engines, i have found quite a few third gens for sale pretty cheap that just need the engine rebuilt. But I love my IROC. I wouldnt want any other car. Im planning on dropping in an LS376, a 6-speed manual trans. 3.73 posi rear end. and repainting it. She's going to be one hell of a car when im done with her.

I live in Minnesota, and every year there is a major car show called Car Craft Summer Nationals. Its one of the biggest car shows in the midwest. It is always held on the third weekend in July, friday saturday and sunday. There are always tons of vendors selling different things, and one of them makes custom decals for your car. He can make almost anything. So 2 years ago, I had him make the IROC sticker for my rear windshield, and then last year, the one for my windshield. It was only about $30

i've got the 305 V8 and it gets around 16 - 18mpg depending on how hard i ride it. If i really beat on it, it drops to like 14 0r 15. But if i drive mostly on the highway and dont beat on it, i can get as high as 20 or 21. But that is a really rare occasion. If you are looking for good fuel economy, third gens arent the way to go. But if you want a car that you can build and get good horsepower and still get decent gas mileage, these cars are the way to go. You can make over 300 hp and 17mpg

Those are the original rims. Those rims are the actual rims that came on the car back in 1985, But with a new touch. They were that brushed aluminum color, which is nice dont get me wrong, but i wanted something that would stand out. And get noticed. So I had them sandblasted and chromed. And let me tell you, thats the best thing I have done to my car so far. I get comments every single day on how great those rims look.
