@fxb621 I think the hard hats are an allusion to the gist of the original song. PSB was referring to working class boys from the east end aspiring to get with certain more affluent girls from the west end. Or at least that's what I would have thought in '85. These girls are flipping it around.

I understand the concept of a "cover" song, but this is Karaoke of the original. At least they could have sang it their own style, instead of taking the PSBs style for their own. They are down-playing the Pet Shop Boys' taboo style which is more of a mockery than a tribute to the band. Cute girls & catchy tune, but it's a good thing the PSBs are getting royalties.
