  • Yes it will be very unfair to those sinners who died in the 14th century. They have been tormented for thousands of years and it will continue until this earth will end. While those that were born yesterday and will die maybe 60 or 90 years after will only be tormented in hell for a short time, not even a hundred of years, when let's say they made sins of the same level. Don't you think it will be very, very unfair to those sinners who were born ahead and died for thousands of years?

  • Furthermore, you may read Revelation 20 and you will see more truth about the dead and the resurrections that will happen when Jesus Christ will come again to judge the living and the dead. Have you forgotten the Apostle's creed? this truth is in the Apostles Creed. Jesus will come again to judge the living and the dead! Meaning judgment is yet to come! So how come that there are some who already are in heaven and some already in hell? It will be very unfair to those who were born first and died

  • Your Church made you believe that those who live on earth as saints are now in heaven. the Bible disagrees with you. 1Thessalonians 4:16, 17. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the in Christ shall rise first: Then which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord." This truth from the Bible gives solid hope. Its truly coming

  • @052Smyrna Psalm 103 we pray, "Bless the Lord, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word", the Bible directs us to invoke those in heaven and ask them to pray with us. Jesus himself warned us not to offend small children, because their guardian angels have guaranteed intercessory access to the Father: Jesus is the only mediator between man and God but this in no way means we cannot or should not ask our fellow Christians to pray with us and for us (1 Tim. 2:1–4)

  • @stevesilvia This pertains to angels who do worship God more than we do. I did not say that you can not ask someone to pray with you or for you. But in doing so you ask the ones who can hear or listen to you and can really talk to God to ask of what you need. You ask the alive ones not the dead. The dead can no longer intercede for you, only the living ones. so Mary can not and the other dead ones. Psalms 115:17 "the dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence."

  • @052Smyrna Your interpretation of "the dead" is hideously flawed. Those are the person's who knew God's laws, yet rejected them out of selfishness and are damned to an eternity without God's love. If one "dies" in God's grace and is saved, then they are not dead at all: they are alive in Heaven, one with our Lord.

I see why you have chosen to interpret in your own way, but the authority of the Church trumps your authority to interpret Scripture in any way you see fit.

  • @stevesilvia Ecclesiastes 9:5 "For the living know that they shall die; but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten." Acts 2:29,34, David, though had been dead for thousand of years, had "not ascended into the heavens." Over fifty times in the Bible, death is compared to sleep, because its only a temporary condition, that carries the promise of a certain awakening. This is by far the simplest, most comforting way to think of death.

  • By the way...there is no such thing as mortal sin and venial sin. the ten commandments is the expression of the will of God to men...it is complete and transgressing one of the ten is transgressing all of the ten.

Lying which is very common doings to men is one of the ten..."Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour." or "Thou shalt not LIE."

  • @052Smyrna If there is no such thing as mortal and venial sin, then please explain what the bible was talking about when it spoke of deadly sin and "sin that is not deadly".

  • "Hail Mary, mother of God...pray for us..." This is misleading...Mary is not the mother of God...Mary is the mother of Jesus when He came here on earth as Man...human. Her being the mother of Jesus did not make her as the mother of God...nor made her someone who can still hear and pray for another person as a sinner. Praying to her is not only being impractical but as well being an idolater...she is still in her grave just like the rest of the dead and she was not given power to intercede.

  • @052Smyrna If you're not trinitarian, we will have to disagree for that reason, if you are, however, then your statement is strange. If Mary is the mother of Jesus and Jesus is God, then Mary, logically, must be the mother of God. This is not to say that she preexisted him, but rather that she carried him for nine months and gave birth to him.

  • Another most profound and ecellent video, Steve. God bless you. I shared on my fb wall. :)

  • We need more people like you on youtube! Great job!

    God's blessings friend.

  • Will I go to hell if I'm not catholic (I'm protestant)?

  • @hortulanus94 That decision belongs to God, we don't make that decision, or judgement. The Catholic Church teaches that salvation belongs to God, and that the Church teaches us the way to follow Jesus, and fully experience the teachings and rewards that God has promised for those who truly love Him.

  • @hortulanus94 Simply put, being a member of the church founded by Jesus does not mean you have a ticket to heaven. It takes faith, hard work, love of God and your brothers in Christ (all people of the world). It must come from your heart, not from a desire of not being punished, to get into heaven. It's not easy for a mortal sinner (breaker of any of the Ten Commandments) to get into heaven but it is possible. All things are possible with God.

  • @hortulanus94 -no...your religion will not save you. It is only Jesus through His blood and grace can save you...us. Your faith in Jesus and in this truth and your obedience to the will of God will be your ticket to the place of salvation.

No one or nothing else can save us but Jesus. Not even the millions of hail Mary's can save anyone...especially when he/she is already dead and have been living an ungodly life!

  • @hortulanus94 of course not...religion can not save you or me...us. It is your love for God, your faith in Jesus and obedience to His will that will ensure salvation.

  • @052Smyrna religion teaches us how to love God and interpret the bible, it teaches us what God expects from us. It brings us to Jesus...Even Paul asked Titus to appoint Priests though out the land...Why? To teach us. Because Jesus wanted us to learn His words, and follow Him the right way.

  • @stevesilvia Yes religion teaches us beliefs and doctrines. but we have to use our brain that God has given to us to see whether what was taught to is right or wrong. The Bible teaches to be wise and it also teaches us to be watchful and vigilant for the devil is just around to deceive and trap us. It teaches us not to follow blindly the teachings and doctrines of men. We should know the right from wrong based on the Word of God. Whatever that is contrary to its teachings is false and dangerous.

  • @hortulanus94 the decision to go to hell or not is yours to make. It is your own choosing that will lead you to where you wanna go...God will judge whether you have made the right decision or not....He will judge you by the life you have lived here on earth....He will judge you according to your works which are the fruits of your faith in Him...Your works will determine whether you have obeyed God and followed His will.

  • Why do always follow tradition just Like the Pharisees You are nothing but hypocrites twisting the Word of the Lord, always pretending to do good showing men that I am this and I am that. Matthew 15: 7-9 Ye hypocrites, well did Isiah prophesy of you, saying This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips buth their hearts are far from me. But in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

  • @lukegeimer what traditions are you talking about?

  • okay, i watched it and I guess some parts make perfect sense.

but if anything, there should be few Hail Marys and more Our Fathers. because we should focus on our God moreover than Jesus' earthly mother. ^^

  • @CloverTheHedgehog23

Did you read the text that was in the video? It's pretty clear. The rosary is a meditation on the life of Christ as seen THROUGH the eyes of his MOTHER. You DO focus on God when you focus on Jesus' earthly mother.....it's right there in black and white. John 2:5.

  • No my darling..*chuckles* I am not afraid of the "truth". Just flat out give me a verse in a comment and I might agree.

I am not an atheist if u were concerned. :)

  • @CloverTheHedgehog23 like I said, it's in the video...

  • show me biblical proof. :D

  • @CloverTheHedgehog23 it's in the video....Guess you didn't watch it. Afraid of the truth?

  • Psalm 45 is a song for the Davidic king’s marriage to a princess from Tyre in Phoenicia. The poet first sings about the king, his role in establishing divine rule, and his splendor as he awaits his bride.

SHE is then counseled to forget her own house when she becomes queen. Her majestic beauty is a sign of the future prosperity of the royal house.

The Psalm was retained in the collection when there was no reigning king, and came to be applied to the king who was to come - the Messiah.

  • Psalm 45: 10-15 “Listen, my daughter, and understand; pay me careful heed. Forget your people and your father’s house, that the king might desire your beauty. He is your lord; honor him, daughter of Tyre. THEN THE RICHEST OF THE PEOPLE WILL SEEK YOUR FAVOR with gifts. All glorious is the king’s daughter as she enters, her raiment threaded with gold; in embroidered apparel she is led to the king."

  • Psalm 45: 15-18 “The maids of her train are presented to the king. They are led in with glad and joyous acclaim; THEY ENTER THE PALACE of the king. The throne of your fathers YOUR SONS will have; YOU shall make them princes through all the land. I WILL MAKE YOUR NAME RENOWNED THROUGH ALL GENERATIONS; THUS NATIONS SHALL PRAISE YOU FOREVER.”

And so it was that Mary, the true Queen of the Davidic Kingdom fulfilled in Christ, proclaimed in her Canticle: “All generations will call me blessed.”

  • Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

  • By combining prayer and meditation: this is the right way to say the Rosary.

May Indung Santo Rosario bless you for this beautiful video Steve!

Blessings in the name of her Son, Christ Jesus to all pious devotees of the Rosary as well.

  • Thanks you Steve for this presentation. I always learn something from your videos that have been so helpful to me. God Bless.

  • Thank you for this video, the last quote was very potent and helped me to understand how our reliance on the Mother of God holds even more evidence in Holy Scripture. God bless.

  • As always...great job. god bless you.

  • "Mary was a Christian (the first Christian, actually, the first to accept Jesus". True.... and also a very good explanation of the Rosary. Thanks steve.

  • Thank you for this so necessary video ... The music is so beautiful ... a little mirror to reflect the beauty of our Mother .-)

  • To stand with Mary and see her son through her eyes brings Him closer to us. Now during Advent, as we prepare for the birth of Jesus we do well to come close to her ,who is bearing Him in her womb. After the Ascension the apostles gathered around her - she was the focal point. In all of history she is the only one of God's creatures who remained totally faithful. Her loveliness draws the Holy Spirit upon us - Rene

  • Contemplating the life of Jesus is beneficial. Repetition in itself does not make a prayer vain. But "fixing our eyes on Jesus" (Heb 12:2a) is different than contemplating Mary's eyes fixed on Jesus. I feel the Rosary obscures the focus.

  • Great Video. Thank you.

  • Yeah, About that...It is the start of all the problematic doctrines from Rome and the Greek mentality through RCC. There is not a single verse in all the Bible that even hints to the rosary as being commanded in the Tanakh or the Renewed Covenant.

  • @paulgem123 I don´t understand your point. Where does the Catholic Church say that the rosary is commanded?

  • @Millingtorres Rosary was not commanded in any portion of Hebrew Scriptures (tanakh) or New Testament.

  • @paulgem123 I know, the Church doesn't say it was which is why I'm not sure what the point you were trying to make was. No Catholic claims it to be commanded in scripture..

  • Thanks Steve! God bless!
