Companies make money, that's what they do, but if a compelling arguement is made that people will buy a product if they do nice things, they'll spend money.

Advertising is about selling, so a good entry would be one which made the idea commercially viable, either as a profit-making enterprise or as a means of building the sponsor's brand.

Even if the motivation is just 13 points, that's enough to make some people work hard to come up with great concepts for something they don't care about.
