agreed, it's huge wide space was lonely, also so many sharp edges (thumbs up for square bum comment haha) wouldn't be very safe his comment of constant surveillance; recently(okay last last month) da installed cameras on both sides of the study room and had us try out program after program so he could get the perfect hd view of us (skype, yahoo, msn =.=) ..hated it hatedit hated it.

children have had tree houses, club houses, fortresses, tea rooms, and personal spaces, i suspect, since the beginning of time. we all had them or we created them. the kitchen is open concept, therefore you can cook WHILE interacting with guests or family. yes, the home seems rather austere initially, but once you fill that space with actual people it will come alive.
It's almost like they want us in a cupbaord and our minds under technocontrol! Scary actually. I prefer to talk to people face-to-face rather than through a virtual telephone or camera! As for the POD were you can spy on your kids, I'm sorry but even my kids have the right to privacy! Not a fan I'm afraid!
