I also got a 1994 Camry V6 with the same O/D flicking on and off and engine check light on....this OD light occurs after long drives transmission shift perfectly but upshifts from 3rd to 4th is slightly hard the car has 263,000 miles

look you have loads of miles on it. the best thing you can do is to change tanny filter, new oil and add 1qt of lucas transmission fix.
worked for me beautifully, i got oldsmobile ciera. my 2nd was messing up now its smooth as new.
