Hey, I was wondering, is there a hidden stage 8? I beat the game twice with the good ending once on normal and the other on hard. I checked my Digital Viewer and there are still some locked images with "Complete stage to unlock". Plus there's a track in the sound BGM with "Please Seal it up!" that I never heard in the game which sounds like an alternate final boss track. Just wondering...

"please seal it up" is played when you get the bad ending by not beating the last boss on time, the colored rings going down the screen show you your time relatively

This boss was hard, i mean really hard. most of the time i lost the free range mid battle and had to count on the hunter or the blade, and even then i kept getting the crap ending

This is one of the hardest bosses I've ever fought in a shooting game, close to Radiant Silvergun and Ikaruga. The boss music reminds me of the final boss music in Segagaga for the Dreamcast.

Too bad. I got this game weeks ago and I think its become my all time favorite Shmup. It's incredibly fun and well-designed. At least the series goes out with a bang with V. I've seen the fan-made Broken Thunder on You Tube, but it doesn't look very good at all....

Thunder Force VI is probably going to be a myth. You see, the company that made the Thunder Force games,Technosoft, went out of business in 2001.

one thing i have taken notice of is that when u fight him in hard mode the free ranges deals more damage out of all the other weapons

therefore if u fight him on hard mode u MUST keep free range i got lucky on the final form i always die and lose free range man it sux >_<

actually the ship itself is very small. the butterfly look comes from debris. but, yeah. how many games have something as awsome as this for a final boss. not many.
