You were involved in a senseless war...but YOU SERVICE IS APPLAUDED!!! and I will always thank you from the depths of my heart,,,,and to those millions of fallen soldiers-YOU ARE HEROS as all vets are, And to the POW's-Im so sorry. And to the spouses and children, you are in my prayers. I shudder to consider what the vets went through when they returned. PLEASE forgive us.

@wascallywabbit4me Well said.... even though this song by John Denver had nothing to do with Vietnam, it did kinda turn into an anthem for anyone who had to leave a sweetheart and go to Vietnam. This HAs to be one of the most beautiful melodies ever written. Crickey lol, this just really goes to show how melody and song can affect the human spirit as I'm literally gettin' a tear in my eye listening to this haha...
