  • Wow! He has a lovely voice!

  • hes sooooooooo cute

  • lol he did a close up cute

  • my tiel talks and whistles too! *Gives high5*

    youtube.com/user/OnWeerosWings?feature=mhee

  • hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh cool

  • so cute

  • He is a camera *HAWK*

  • hahaha all my tiels just broke out in a song

  • i want to sleep with him

  • This made my own cockatiel scoot around on the keys trying to find the one in the video.

  • My cockatiel is looking around his cage for another bird!

  • Think of it this way. Your cockatiels use body language to communicate with each other. If you keep whistling and talking to your birds, they will start answering. If they dont have an example, where will they learn :) they're like kids, they absorb information like a sponge.

  • It's depressing when I look at all these cockatiels speaking... then looking over at my own pair of cockatiels who doesn't know how to speak ):

  • @takutoxx they cant speak if you have a pair of them, U can only teach a bird to talk if it's alone.

  • omg my cockatiel looks just like yours

  • My cockatiel Loves your bird

  • i have a all white cockatiel and i have been trying to teach her how to tlk but she doesnt she trys because wen i talk to her or whistle at her her mouth will open and shell strt dancing around but she dnt whistle i need help

  • @cosmmic1 female cockatiels dont talk. they whistel and imitate other birds but even if you teach your bird to talk (it is possible, but rare) you wont understand a word.

    btw, is your cockatiel albino?

  • @TheReni666 idk i bought her in the fuken swapmeet lol how can u find out?

  • @cosmmic1 albino animals are all white and have red eyes. This is lutino cokatiel, grey cockatiels are nature colored. Albino animals have a bit worse sight than other animals but they are ussually smarter. search albino cockatiels in google :)

  • @TheReni666 mine doesnt have red eyes but thanks for the info imma look it up

  • my cockatiel is 5 months old an he doesn't make a peep =[ he only screams and yells when hes sitting on my window watching birds fly by and hes excited or when i leave the room he calls me. other then that he doesnt talk or chirp at all. sad day =[ i dont understand why. when did yours start whistling?

  • @yessicaaa1475 It might be a female, they are more quiet than the male birds and usually don't whistle

  • i think someone loves the camera life!

  • I have 3 of theese and I just adore them :x

  • Hahaha, he's whistling at a hot cockatiel lady that just flew by. XD

  • i have two cockatiels one is gray and the other is yellow :)

  • @JRockknddheartzz me too. My gray one is named Peanut and my yellow one is Cheeks.

  • hey, awsome video, and everyone shuld watch my vid of my cockateil singing and dancing... id appreciate the veiws, and votes, and comments =-D, thanks!!

  • @skate4life232 fuck you know what's good your ass cutt up burned eaten by animals and thrown away you damn ass hole fucking bitch you are sick

  • omg doesn't it fly away??

  • 0:30 Ooh, what's that?

    0:38 Hi, youtube! I'm a birdie.

  • that is cool,and awsome

  • cockatiels are delicious when fried

  • @sk84life232 wtf lol

  • @sk84life232 How could you say that?!

  • @sk84life232 : No they aren't. But do you know what's REALLY cool? It's when human garbage such as yourself commits suicide and there's no one around to mourn you -- your remains get thrown into a trash can and no one cares while the maggots feed on what's left of your stinking hide. Cheers!

  • @SECAMsLive at least i had a DELICIOUS, FRIED LAST MEAL. . . .yummy

  • @sk84life232 I prefer them baked, makes the feathers nice and crisp. Some good eatin'

  • It's so cute

  • My bird does this. He won't shut up though. The only thing we here all day is the wolf whistle, my sister at one poit screames "SHUT UPPPP!!!" He looked kinda sad after that so I forced her to apologize him.

  • We had a cockatiel. It is the most beautiful, amicable pet you could ever invest in. While we gave it a chance to fly away, I'm sure that had he flown to a nearby tree, We could've gotten him to fly back given that he was in love with his reflection on a pocket sized mirror. Whenever you made a muffled clap sound that sounded like the mirror when you close it, he would fly to it or if you had it he would hunt you down to get to it.

Funniest stuff, I love my bird.

  • xDamnedHoodyx lots of repetition and repeating. it could takes weeks and months to train a bird to talk

  • Cool i heard he says pretty bird and something with bucada.

  • man,i should stop watching these videos, when my cockatiel hears those sound,it goes crazy and IT RLY HURTS my ears ;) but still i love birds

  • very nicccccccce

    like it

    :)

  • this is adorable

  • how cute!

  • i cant get my birds Jay and Marty to shut up!!!

  • @martinjsMYhubby thats easy you know when they make noise talk away birds make noises to get attenion

  • At sum parts your cocketiel says "whatcha do'in?" and at 0:31 he purrs! Just like my cocketiel, me and Flurrie (my cocketiel) purr back and forth to eachother, and he meows to me, and also tries to sound like a rooster lol :D

  • same bread as my lil boy Buddy, he doenst take much interest in talking though, well he talks in his own language and answers questions with squeels, he is still under a year old so maybe he will start talking when he gets older and calmer

  • wow the cuteist lil bird ever

  • OMG he is so so so so so cute!^^

he is even cuter than my cockateil! =^-^=

  • my bird dudnt say eny ting

  • OMG what a cutie! my cockatiel can say preet girl, hey Lani, good girl, goodmorning lani, Myra (cats name) Jacko (dogs name) and get out Jacko :D your tiel is adorable!

  • @Dogcrazzzy are u sure u have a cockatiel and not an african grey parrot?

  • @coolaunry haha yes definitly a cockatiel :) a very special one at that, shes learnt (in a year since i posted my last comment) how to whistle pop goes the weasel, say her cage mates name "lily" and i added to calling the cat so she now says "myra pus pus pus"

  • @coolaunry i have got 4 cockatiel. but i got them for breeding. but they are showing no signs yet (u know what i mean :p) do u have a pair that breeds?

  • im a pretty bird!!! and sounds to me like hes doing part of the andy griffith show lol

  • This bird is cool--looks to be enjoying being outside. Sounds like he's saying pretty bird?

  • Hahaha he sounds like a turntable. WIKKI WIKKI SCRRT SCRRT

  • Dude, he does! XD I was like... picturing him do some kinda remix for a second.

  • adorable

  • Better be careful with having them outdoors. Make sure their wings are clipped if you do bring them outside, or there is a high likelihood it will fly away.....happened to me :'( I didn't know though, I was only around 10 years old.

  • lol i love how he was moving closer to the caemra and whistling to it XD

  • thats very good any tips on how to get the bird to do that

  • The one that shouldn't speak here is you.

  • how do u make them talk, do they just pick it up?

  • if you whistle or say it a lot after a couple weeks they pick up on it.

  • Yes, but It is a lot easier if you put a mirror in front of them while you train them.

It will make them think there is a fellow bird whistling to them.

  • @xDamnedHoodyx they can do that or you can teach them. just take them to a place where there are little or no distractionns and repeat one word for about 10 minutes. keep doing it everyday and they will pick it up. i just tought my bird phil to say "hello"

    !

  • youre lucky...my cockatiel died like 2 weeks ago

  • i love birds, my budgie can say hello :)

  • So cute..wait im a guy..so..Its ok...CUTE

  • my cockatiel types this ffwewcdhytyjuydfefefsdwdwwdasqdgrthyhyjhu

    jkijikrtyjyjukuikuk00141444

  • smart cockatiel you have :)) it likes 4

  • do you take your bird outside?? did you clip its wings?? hmmm mine are tame but i will never take them outside..

  • do u think it would fly away if you did?

  • i really think they would, but mine are tame and i guess iam jus scared to lose them. I really admire you fore doing it.

  • Tiels - even if their wings are clipped can still fly a certain distance. But my baby is not clipped anymore for safety reasons. So she can get out of the way. Just need to be careful with opening outside doors.

  • Actually its better to clipped their wings, at least they can walked around and have some freedom. Rather than putting them in the cage, they still can't fly can they?

Getting a pet = not giving your pet full freedom.

It applies to any pet, but at the same time, you ensure that they dont die.

I dont think its cruel at all.

Giving them freedom by letting them go, i believe they'll die even sooner.

  • i let my bird fly around but he doesnt go out side cuz he is scared of me

  • look at classical conditioning thats how you have to train them up look at pavlov and the explanation associate your hand with food all the time eventually after a while he will come on your hand shoulder and become tame the rest is up to you but once tame you will then be able to teach whistling and little tricks

  • o wow lol thats nice

your prob either a giant to him or u did something that he didnt like\got scared of u

hahha what a bastard (if u get that..)

  • theres nothing wrong with clipping birds when i first got mine it always flies away so i clipped there wings and now they sit on my shoulder and all, it just maked them more reliable on you when thew grow back ill see if i needa clip em again

  • "his wings weren't clipped well at one point and he did fly away" you mean his wings were cutted so he wasnt able to fly...? i could kill those ppl who do that to their birds....its bird JOB to fly. Flying is one of those thigs wich make them happy and healthy. its just good that he flight away....ill bet his life is much happier like that......

  • haha yeah in terms of teaching them to speak, they just pick certain syllables up better than others. unfortunately, his wings weren't clipped well at one point and he did fly away :(....I only had him for about 8 months

  • @soxfan19185

same as my cockatiel flex ive only had him for 9 months but then he flew away :(

  • @soxfan19185 lol you must of been like AHHHH a bird worth $500 is flying away!

  • @doratheexplorerhd actually cockatiels are allot cheaper then 500$

  • @koiuki2 mine was 160 € ( it was unique colored) otherwise 90 €

  • @janiv93 lol mine was 50

  • @koiuki2 so they ripped me off,basterds

  • @janiv93 nah its just the place i buy from is almost half off from normal stores in fact the first cockatiel i bought was 90

  • @soxfan19185 did u bring him out side or something?

  • @soxfan19185 That's really sad to hear :(

I feel sorry for you cos our cocketeil, Chico, doesn't have his wings clipped. The front door and living room door both happened to be open and he flew out. My fault. He was across the road in the tree's like at the very top and we couldn't get to him. My dad put out fliers and stuff. 2 days later my dad text me saying that someone found him and we got him back. We know it was him by the tunes he sings and his markings. All the same.

  • @soxfan19185 Samething happen my tial just last week. :(

  • @soxfan19185 ive seen a bird like him in our area. FLYING AROUND!

  • @soxfan19185 I feel ya. The same happened to me. Good times...

  • he doesnt look happy

  • pretty bird :D

  • Well I didnt hear him say anything but whatever. I like these birds I want one someday. I know exactly what Im gonna name it too lol

  • xD Hes trying to get in your face~! I love it! \('o')/

  • Such a cutie, he loves seeing himself?

  • They're so expensive, i'd like to get another one sometime, hopefully a male for my female.

  • Lol. I think he caught his reflection in the lense :p

  • same here

  • 0:40-0:42 "Well bye Youtube"

  • Very cute! Are his wings clipped? Don't you worry about him flying away or getting in trouble outside? I'm very paranoid about my birds getting outside.

  • you should be

this girl who lives down the street from me loved her bird and she took it outside with her one moring and it flew away they spent months trying to find it =(

  • wings are clipped

  • hi i got a baby cockatiel its like 3/4 mobths old.......

    how does it talk........

    does it learn natural

  • omg i have the same breed, name, and gender. Me and him are working on whistling

  • he's cool

  • definitely

  • i got a baby cockatiel but he dont know how to talk???

    How did u learn yours

  • just by spending a lot of time with it talking to it. use one syllable words they are easier for the bird to copy

  • omg how cute!

  • i might get 2 cockatiels when i come back from my trip to germany

  • I loved it when he said snowy's a pretty bird.

    "SNO-WEEE'S a prettybird" xD

    He's beautiful!

  • R2D2? o_o

    yeah? o_o

  • you can sure tell its comfortable around you

  • lol that's adorable. =3

  • anybody know anything about pregnant cockatiels? I neet of a bit of help wih mine.

  • Birds don't get "pregnant". They lay eggs. They only need to be bred by a male once to have all eggs inseminated. The female will lay a clutch of eggs. The number of eggs can vary. The female will need a plain wooden box with no bedding to lay her clutch in. See your pet store for the box. It must be the correct size for the bird.

  • okay, smartass, how about the # of eggs? I doubt 19 is normal for one clutch. btw THAT WAS NO HELP! I'm not stupid, I know the basics. I meant I need help because my birds are extremely horny and one of them doesn't want to sit on the eggs. and the other still wants to mate. 19 EGGS!!! not normal

  • Well with that kind of attitude, I doubt anyone is going to want to help you. As for me stating that birds don't get pregnant as you put it, you'd be amazed at the amount of people who own birds and know nothing about them. Try googling cockatiels, I'm sure you'll find all the answers you need there. Giving the birds a breeder box will stop the female from laying eggs. Neither bird will set on the eggs until the eggs are in a breeder box. Was that enough help this time?

  • giving them a box kept them going... we had to take it out

  • Since the breeder box didn't help and she still lays eggs daily, then I would recommend bringing her to an avian veterinarian. Until then, give her some hard boiled eggs with the shells crushed into the egg. She is in need of the proteins the eggs can give her. But most importantly, get her to a vet before all the egg laying kills her. Also watch her in case she becomes egg bound. That will kill her too if left unchecked.

  • anybody know anything about pregnant cockatiels? I neet of a bit of help wih mine.

  • I absolutely love your cockatiel, such a happy song! ^^

  • tears in my eyes missing my birdie. he always had to be THAT CLOSE to my face when whistling lol

  • your bird is so cute I love buca de popo's yummmm LOL

  • Aw, what a sweetheart. :)

  • too cute!

  • He is soooo cute. More videos!!!!

  • I have a white bird just like him! And his name is also Snow.

  • He is so cute. I could hear him talking.

  • I once saw a mockingbird, damn it sang every bird call in our neighborhood above a street light, i listened to it, and it was alone, but just singing

  • That's not talking, that's just whistling and mimicking other wild birds in its surroundings.

  • if u listen he says snowys a pretty bird and "buca de bepo" which is an italian phrase no joke. we taught him to say it
