  • It's really cool to see that makes me happy iam black and I listen to x and it makes me feel like a werido cuz I have no Japanese in my family and I have no training in Japanese actually iam Jamaican but I love x because I don't need the words to understand I was blessed to hear there beautiful melody

  • the best anti-racist song ever!

  • yoshiki has quite strong japanese accent.

    his music is awesome though...

  • i never knewn that they did this....when i found this i was like WOOOOOOOOOOOOH hahaha

  • Don't worry about the low quality - this is a wonderful upload - thank you.

  • Rodger, Its Pronounced Yosh-Ki ¬¬ haha

    Xx

  • lovely rog!!

  • You obviously have not heard X Japan then, man. Yoshiki Hayashi is one of the greatest composers of our time. I would go so far as to call him a modern day Mozart. Be it power metal, rock, power ballads, or straight up classical music the guy does it better then almost anyone in the wold at the momment. I'm a fan of Queen too, but X Japan and what Yoshiki did with that bad is heaven sent. X Japan is a power metal tour de force whilst being one of the greates rock bands of our time.

  • I agree.. but... I wouldn't call X Japan powermetal at all....

  • I think X Japan have alot of varying styles but Yoshiki IS a great rock star, maybe not over in the UK or USA clearly but in his country, picture japans image of roger over there.

  • Oh there's no doubt about that at all, X Japan /is/ all encompassnig, I just don't really think they've done any power metal.

  • I'd say parts of the song Dahlia and some of their earlier stuff is kinda power metal, more thrashy than power metal but with some of the harmony stuff it would count more as power metal than trash in places

  • Hnn.. Yeah now that you mention it, you're right. I'll have to pull out the older CDs and give them a listen to double-check. x)

  • Haha just FYI, "Originally named X, the group achieved its breakthrough success in 1989 with the release of their second album Blue Blood. They started out as a power/speed metal band and later gravitated towards a progressive sound, at all times retaining an emphasis on ballads."

They were once very much into power/speed metal :) Now they're all-rounded, which is even better

  • you are absolutely correct. Since I discovered X Japan in May 2009 (month over) and immediately I hooked to this band and Yoshiki. he is genius...I only hope X Japan reunion will last longer + I like to watch their Live next time available. Missed Tokyo and Taipei this year. I loved every single song by Yoshiki, especially the epic 29min ART OF LIFE.. just bought DVD

  • I'm one of the biggest X Japan fans of all time. I feel a strange feeling in my belly when I hear Art Of Life.

    BUT

I wouldn't call him GREATEST COMPOSER. If you listen closely... a LOT of his compositions sounds PRETTY alike. And the BIG HITS, like Rose of Pain... is based in a previous composition of Bach. And Art of Life is based on Schubert 10 movement. So... be careful. ;)

  • I mean, don't get me wrong. I love X as much as you. But listen closely. Even in this song all the "string arrangements" are the same as Tears. Even the drums. The same exact percussion and piano hits.

  • very simular

  • yoshiki u have a amazing voice too!!

  • Thank you very much for posting this!!!

  • It's love *__*

    I love yoshikis english xD

but i hate it that nobody in america speaks yoshikis name right -_-

  • same here, i hate how they use the first "i". i tell everyone that it's silent but they never get it right

  • Yoshiki + Roger Taylor = Looooove

    THANK YOU!

  • Thanx!!

  • this is so cool!!! i wounder if there is an interveiw like this for eternal melody 1 with sir george martin!!!!

  • Please translate in Japanese...

  • thanks, spanks
