I was there in 1982. I worked as a motel maid at the motel on the corner. I was there like a week and lived on one bologna sandwich a day. The motel owners said room and board was provided. They lied. Even worse, they listened to all my phone conversations. I thought I would die there. But, luckily my sister came to get me after I called her from a pay phone. I ran out and was gone before the old man could do anything. He paid me $12 after subtracting rent for a week. Stay away from Wall.
OMG! Back in 1964 when I was 7 years old, the family stopped at Wall Drug and I saw my first jackalope. And yes, I had a hot roast beef sandwich! (The taste came back up while watching this.).
Great place for kids - lots of weird and quirky stuff to see.
