  • Hello. The noise at 2.45 is the gennaker sheet being eased as the boat bears away in a gust.

  • great boat. Look at my!

  • Looks amazing. Love the sound of water passing the hulls at that speed. Just curious, what was the noise at 2:45?

  • how much is a brand new sig 45 of 60 costing nowadays

  • i read somewhere the sig 45 cost in the area of 700k

  • isnt that too much for a 45 ft cat? I would understand if it was for the 60 ft version

  • no not when you consider that carbon fiber material is much more expensive material and the luxury styling and details of the boat. i'd figure a lagoon 440 about 44 feet cost about 500k depending on options. and they can add up. its all about the features and what you wantin the boat. im sure you can find someone to build this design or similar for a cheaper price. with cheaper material, but then you end up with less performance. so its up to you if that is worth the cost to you or not.

  • also if you were used to the price of monohulls then it would be even more expensive for the size of boat. cruising cats typically cost more cause for the same foot length there is much more boat

  • Looks good. Could you please post vids of the cat going upwind into moderate to steep waves?

  • I'll see what I have and get it up as soon as possible

  • This is a remarkable new concept and boat. There have been many new racing multihulls in recent years; but this is a design that is part of that pedigree, and can be owned by a regular sailboat owner.
