Those are not low pros. And I've seen in person a 13b turboed fd spin tires through gears before, It's possible. And why would someone put low pros on those wheels. I'm not saying they are meaty slicks like the gtr.

R32 and fd's two of my fav's! Props to both builds. But it looks like the 7 has slicks on, that or just different wheels and lower tire pressure. 100 hp is a lot over another car. And that sounds like a 20b kinda haha.

I thought they were called gtr's And skyline wasnt a true title.

@VcottntailW no the rx7 has low profile street tires, and spin thru 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear... this wouldn't be possible with slicks.

and this sounds like a bridge ported 13b-rew, NOT a 20b-rew ... the 20b engines has a deeper tone, while 13b's have more of a raspy sound.

@nagelk If you're referring to the GTS-4, you're right, but it was less capable than either the GTR or the GTS-T as it used a weaker non-turbo RB20/25. And it was a heavier chassis than either trim level because in the later models they became 4doors.

It was not a well received model. Thats why I dont consider that trim level.

as expected. The R won. 700 hp over 600 hp plus Yon W D 4wd. That's more power going to the wheels than the seven. However you have to give credit to the 7. It's working off of 2 rotors making that power instead of 6 pistons and less displacement. Both cars are great and were wayyyyyy ahead of their time. Great video
